Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Dr. Dihn and the other downline staff at Lakewood Modern Dentistry are hands down, some of the kind-hearted, caring, and professional dental workers you will ever meet. From the check-in process, to the appointment itself, Dr. Dihn and her staff did an amazing job of making me feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for. Having been very self-conscious about my teeth for years, Dr. Dihn and her team went the extra mile in helping shape a smile that I'm proud to show off. I couldn't be more elated!

Place is a joke,they knew I was in total pain,and can't take certain medications, tell me to take ibuprofen and tylonol,which I explained to them I only have 1 kidney,can't take that stuff,so they send me off in total pain and did nothing 60 bucks,even with insurance.

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Dinh and her support staff. I was a relatively new patient there, having been a patient for less than a year, when I hit my face and knocked/broke both my front teeth out. While I don't normally have that much anxiety when it comes to a dentist, this was a very traumatic and stressful thing for me so I was frantic when I wanted to get in. I called before they opened and hoped for the best. They scheduled me the same day for an evaluation. Front desk staff - so dang friendly it made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in. They booked out an entire two hours for me just in case I needed extra work done. My temporary crowns were pretty spot-on for temporaries. Doc Dinh was so patient and kind to me the entire time as they worked on fixing the mess that was my mouth. Two weeks later, I have two crowns that almost look better than the teeth that were there before, from the color to the shape. They are almost indistinguishable from my normal teeth. Thank you to Dr. Dinh, every dental assistant and hygienist that interacted with me, and the front desk staff. Again, I can't say enough positive things about this team. Thank you for calming me down during a stressful time.

Very honest about pricing. The whole staff was very personable and thorough with explanations which I appreciated because often you're not quite sure what the dental lingo means. I also liked being told what step of my visit was coming and how long each would take before moving onto the next. Overall great experience :)

I had gone here after moving and needing a new dentist. I've never had any teeth issues. The staff was "friendly" but I wasn't even checked in until more than ten minutes past my appointment time, had X-rays taken and then Dr. Lam took about a two second look in my mouth in a dark room (never experienced that before) and did not use any tools whatsoever and refused to give me a cleaning because I needed a "deep cleaning" and allegedly had two cavities which she claimed were from "previous fillings falling out". I've never had a cavity or a filling... she didn't even review my previous dental history, and needed to set up my appointment immediately because this was an emergency. I immediately walked out and went to a different dentist who informed me I had 0 cavities and my teeth were perfectly fine. This was the most unprofessional dental experience I've ever had. It's quite scary that they would have unnecessarily drilled into my mouth, which would have caused permanent damage all for the sake of money.

I read reviews and was a bit skeptical, but I'm so glad I tried this office! The team was patient and answered all of my treatment questions fully. I wasn't excited about needing work done- but had a great experience and would recommend this office to anyone!!

TOTAL FRAUD -DO NOT GO HERE. Went to this office as it was close to my house and somehow covered by insurance. Their whole business model is to pressure you into high dollar cost procedures and cleanings when they are not needed. I waited until i saw another dentist to write this review. The new dentist confirmed my mouth was happy and healthy. Modern dentistry was trying to pressure my insurance and me, into paying thousands for special treatments. At that point i got up and walked out of the office. -UPDATE TURNS OUT THEY CHARGED MY INSURANCE COMPANY OVER $600 FOR XRAYS......

I went today for the first time and waited over an hour past my appointment time to get seen in the room. When I came out and asked the nurse how come it was taking so long and that I was running out of time, she just shrugged her shoulders and said "up to you you can leave". The receptionist stood there and smiled the whole time. Wasted my time.

This place is a scam! Do not go to a for profit dentist, their entire goal is to make money off of you, not your health. I have the same story as everyone in these reviews they told me I needed deep cleanings and had two cavities. I did not!! It's so sad these types of places exist.

With my old dentist retiring, i had to find a new location when a filling fell out of my mouth. Lakewood Modern Dentistry was able to fit me in immediately. Sadly I needed a crown/root canal, but Lakewood Modern worked with me every step of the way, answering all my questions thoroughly as well as fitting me in for on the spot rechecks with reoccurring pain from the canal. I definitely found my new dental home with this dental location. This is coming from a guy who absolutely fears going to the dentist. 5 stars to everyone from the receptionists all the way to the surgeons.

Worst experience I've ever had. Left in tears! I'm not confrontational at all but I'm so disappointed in the care I've received. Dr. Lam shames you and has zero compassion. You don't even feel like a valued patient; just on an assembly line being passed over.
