This facility is a scam! When I called to make my daughter's appointment for a crown, I explained that she would be turning 5 on the day of her appointment. I asked if they had preventative ways of helping her not bite herself while under their care as a prior pediatric dentist couldn't seem to prevent. The person who took my phone call, Dulce, assured me that they could put a bite block in place to help prevent my little one from biting her lip. I arrived at the appointment, they took my information and my daughter's. We went back to the exam room where the hygienist asked my daughter how old she was and knew at that point if the procedure should have continued or not. However, this facility is more interested in getting your money rather than the best interests of your child. She looked at my little girl's teeth and could see quite clearly what needed to be done. However, THEY PUSHED for another set of x rays that I had just had from the previous dentist in May of this year. I explained that my insurance would not pay for another set. The hygienist explained that if my insurance doesn't cover the cost of the x-rays the office would not charge me. The x-ray process did not go well. My daughter gagged and cried. I stepped in and told them that I wasn't comfortable with how the process was going and how my daughter was being treated. The hygienist told me that they couldn't proceed without them. After several attempts from the staff--who completely forgot to worry about the protective leaded protective apron that I had to constantly pull up and keep on my daughter's chest - the x-ray was complete. Dr. VJ came in, looked for a split second at the MUST HAVE x-ray then in my daughter's mouth only to tell me that they do not treat pediatric patients!!!!! Are you kidding me?!!!! At what point in this whole miserable process did this establishment not notice that my daughter was 5? I asked why I was even allowed to schedule an appointment; they couldn't answer that. I DO NOT recommend this appalling dental practice to anyone! I'll be surprised if this review even gets published or they will say I am not a verified client or patient. I don't believe that HIPPA laws would allow them to verify my identity, and if they do... please see that as another RED flag!!

I love Lakewood Family Dental. Everyone is always super nice and they are always on time. The dentist is very good at what he does. He always makes sure I am doing ok (ie insures there isn't any pain or discomfort going on). I would definitely recommend this office.

Dr. Josh Kaluzny and DA Shyanne are amazing. I have Autism and Complex Truama. I was able to explain my Autism needs and dental trauma during a consultation appointment. They performed a root canal (I have had 2 previous root canals) and it was the best medical experience I have ever had. Their patience, genuine care and support for my understanding was unlike anything I have experienced before. I literally wanted to hug Dr. Josh while he was taking out the tooth nerve. Dr. Kaluzny and Shyanne have created a standard of care that will be the expectation and not the exception. Thank you, Kayla

Very good techs and great for a person with children. They were able to give me an appointment for all of us. Understanding the needs of nervous children and they make them as comfortable as possible. Very recommend. They give you up front quotes for your insurance coverage and any copays.

I had Dr Josh as my dentist and Miss Patty was his assistant. They took very good care of me. I had a chipped tooth that I had to get extracted and I was hella scared and Dr Josh kept me calm walked me through everything. I went in for tooth pain and walk out with my teeth cleaned and a lot more. He is So patience and so sweet. 10/10. I most certainly Recommend. And they even took my HIPPA insurance( which all dentist don't)

I love DR.GANDHI she is so nice and always make sure your comfortable I been going here for the last two years ... Now my baby is about to start going there for his first dentist visit can't wait I know they are going to be great with him .... So thanks today for everything DR.GANDHI MRS.PATTY SHYANNE

if I could give this zero stars I would. Took my husband here to have a back molar removed, appointment was scheduled at 3pm he wasn't seen until 3:30pm. Used several different tools and had to run to a different room to grab the tools. Only used wipes to sanitize said tools, cut the side of my husband's check on the inside. Gave him stitches which I expected, but didn't show my husband or I how to pack his gauze as to prevent him from bleeding for a longer period of time. Did not give him anything for his pain other than ibuprofen. I give this place no stars I have never seen or heard of a dentist with such awful practice. Husband also asked for me to go back with him, I was told after they where done taking x-rays I would be allowed to go back. Not a single person came and got me, nor was I updated on how he was doing until I asked if he was okay, is the dentist having issues. I was then told oh he will only be another 20 minutes. I had already been left to wait for an hour and half at this point. I waited for a total of two and half hours with my seven month old. The bedside manner is not here with this place. Seriously don't go here find someplace else.

I called this morning asking if they had any appointments because I was in severe pain. They luckily had a cancellation and could get me in! I went and had Dr Gandhi and Patty helping me out. They were very kind and explained things to me very well. They let me know that my last dentist was charging me wrong and I got to have a procedure I've needed for a while but couldn't afford because they charged my insurance properly! I am so grateful to them. I can finally start my path toward having a mouth that doesn't constantly hurt.

I needed a wisdom tooth extraction. The first time I went in, it wasnt the best but they did they could with my high blood pressure. But the second time I had Dr. Vinit and his assistant Patty D. They did the procedure flawlessly and he made comfortable with what was happening. Thank you again.
