Our panoramic dental x-ray machine uses a very small dose of ionizing radiation to capture the entire mouth in one image. It allows us to plan treatment for dentures, braces, extractions and implants.

They are very Kind and do Terrific dental work, They make patients very comfortable. Dr Lopez is excellent! The best Dentist I have ever had do dental work she has done a root canal & fillings she did an amazing job and makes sure you don't have any pain. Thank u, Dr Lopez ?

Normandy Dentistry has been absolutely phenomenal in helping me gain back my confidence with my smile. The team here went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing which was needed to help soothe my nerves for the procedures I had to go through. Still more to do, but I know I'm in trusted hands.

It is such an honor to have an awesome doctor that is a gentle giant, in kindness and courtesy with great respect for all clients I recommend Dr. Shaw and his team, they deserve an award of appreciation for there listening skills, a very professional team which have mastered the art of joyfulness treating each client like a family member. Please continue to bring smiles on each person you meet. Its going to be a lovely year!

The 'NICEST' Group of Staff I 've 'EVER' met... Before moving to Jacksonville I was in Medical Sales and dealt with Office Staff for years. I 'HONESTLY' with the exception of Westchester County Medical Group. Had NEVER until today met a Group that came close. Though they didn 't alleviate my 'fear' of dentists. I 'm not as fearful of going back to finish the needed work that has to be done...

For cleaning they were very professional. They offer full mouth Xrays as well as bitewing shots. The Dr. discusses what they see with you and if there are any issues they discuss in detail what their recommendation us.

I had to wait longer than normal both for my cleaning and for the dentist to come to my room. A little surprised since I received numerous reminder texts and calls saying theyd be ready for me. I love the facilities and my hygienist is great.

Have you ever been to a dental office that smells and looks like a high-end spa? Where every employee smiles, and even in the lobby asks if you're comfortable, would you like a beverage? Think you're going to pay more for all these niceties - NOPE , they are less expensive than my previous dentist! Every exam room is based on a tropical, alluring vacation spot, they have TVs mounted on the ceiling, bring you warmed blankets. And the dentists are REALLY nice, not fake nice , really nice. I encourage everyone to visit Lakewood Dentistry, they are WONDERFUL.

Lakewood Dentistry has always had a fantastic crew of hygienists take care of my family since we moved to Jacksonville almost 3 and a half years ago. We happily maintain our scheduled cleanings, and my children actually get excited to go into their office.

Today, I had the pleasure of getting my cleaning with one of their newest hygienists, Lisa. Her upbeat personality and a vast array of knowledge about things, other than a simple conversation about my teeth, was refreshing. At the same time, she did an amazing job during my cleaning and presented me with several options about taking care of my teeth in between my regular visits to Lakewood.

I was referred to Doctor Lee twelve years ago by a friend. Soon thereafter, I went to his office to have some minor dental work done. Due to the economic collapse in the country at that time, I had just been laid off from my job with the railroad industry after 22 years of dedicated service...but still retained my health insurance. Dr. Lee asked what I did for a living and, after hearing my response, he very sarcastically suggested that I stand on the side of the road with a sign that read, "Will work for food." Lee evidently thought he was going to be cute at my expense. Over the years, I have spoken to numerous other individuals who all testify to what a nasty person he really is. You have been warned. ***My Response -- Lee, the only reason you are apologizing to me now is because I made it public just what a smart aleck you really are. To continue my story, after your insulting treatment, I received a call from your office asking for a favorable review. I proceeded to tell the receptionist what you said and did and that I planned on reporting you to the Florida Dental Association. When I returned a week later to complete my dental work, you came in the office and did not say a word to me, obviously angry that I rocked the boat. If you had had any remorse, you would have apologized to me then.

Updated** After getting stuck with the bill going to collections, we needed to clear the debt. They did work with us month and reduced the bill to $400. What a headache though. Maybe different staff was the big change of heart. I don't know. Updated review: Due to the staff filing insurance untimely, I am stuck with a $1,500 bill loaded with fees. At the time of service, there was insurance to cover the service. At the time of filing, insurance had lapsed and was charged as if I had no insurance. This debt went to collections and I've had zero help and no responsibility taken from Lakewood Dentistry for this error. Steer your business elsewhere.

Ive been going to Lakewood for a while. Throughout my time, I've encountered minor issues at each visit. For example, I was charged on site for fluoride and then later received a bill in the mail again for the same service. I've given them the benefit of the doubt, but ultimately their front desk staff are lacking. While they are nice people they continuously make errors and screw things up. My most recent visit in October 2022 was the last straw for me. I arrived at 8:20 am for my 8:30 appointment only to find out that my appointment was never scheduled. I pushed to get in since I took time off from work to attend this appointment. They were able to fit me in at 9 am so I waited. During my appointment, they proceed to tell me that I owe a $50 no show fee for an appointment I never came to that past April. I keep everything in my calendar and I know I did not have an appointment in April 2022. They told me they would waive the fee. I end up hearing this same thing from 3 different employees throughout my appointment. At the end of my service, the tech in my room asked if I wanted to schedule my next appointment and I told her no thank you. I end up getting an email five minutes later for an appointment in April 2023 despite me telling them I didn't want to schedule one. After much back and forth, I was finally able to cancel that unwanted appointment. By this time, I had already paid for my service and the front desk is now telling me I still owe a dollar because they charged it wrong. Ultimately, Ive been giving them chances because the facility is pretty nice and it's close to home. But I don't have the patience to deal with them anymore. The actual cleaning and exam service was average. I've had better dentists and cleanings before so I will be looking for another dentist.

Very unprofessional and even office manager not helpful with our insurance!!!! They tried to charge us almost $700 yet when I called them out by getting our insurance company on the phone out copayment was $28. The manager informed me that no one has ever called their insurance company on speaker right in front of her. They only care about money. This isn't right and poor business!!!!!!! We will NEVER GO BACK THERE!!!!!!!!

It pains me to write a negative review since my first few services were fantastic. I loved how the staff and Dr. Frazier were polite and attentive for initial visits. Around January, is when things seemed to be in a bit of disarray. Scheduled visits took 2-3 hours instead of staying in their one hour appointment slot. I overheard complaints from various staff in the hallway on multiple visits about people just being squeezed in when the office was already completely booked and how staff were being pulled in all different directions. If it were a one time thing I'd understand but multiple times leads me to conclude management needs an overhaul. Not respectful of my time at all, especially since I can't bill for my wasted time. In January the staff all seemed extremely stressed and rushed. I'm mostly writing to warn people about asking to pay in full for services. I requested to have Invisalign treatment performed in January of 2019. At that time I told the dental assistants, Dr. Frazier, and the check out staff I wanted to pay everything in full up front. On my next appointment they charged me 50 cents. On the second to last appointment my retainer impressions had to be re-taken. I had to go back in again (I had moved 3 hours away at this point) for impressions again. That's when I got slapped with a bill for almost $1,200. My insurance had lapsed in April which is part of why I asked to bill everything up front. They were "sorry I was under the impression it was all taken care of" but no one put notes or anything else in the system. I paid $600 and now I have another bill for $600 since my insurance lapsed after they botched my retainer impression. It seems like a case of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. tl;dr - cool technology, poor management. Wouldn't recommend or do business with again

My entire visit was amazing. Check in process was seamless. I came in for wisdom teeth extractions with Dr. Lang & it was perfect. Entire procedure was Painless, he answered every question and concern I had. He made me feel safe and not nervous done but, he he even followed up with me to see how I was healing. He is an absolutely amazing Doc. The entire facility was extremely clean, organized & welcoming.
