As a doctor, I recognize that my patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in me and my team. That is just one reason why I value each and every patient relationship.

Dr. Thompson, a Booneville, Mississippi native graduated from Ole Miss in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi in 1995 from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. After graduating from dental school, she began her practice at 264 Power Drive, where she is still taking care of her Batesville and surrounding area patients.

Dr. Thompson is married to Michael Savage and they have three boys, Eli, Ford and Baylor. She enjoys running everything from 5Ks to half marathons for charity, especially those that support the local humane society and St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital. She also enjoys lake activities, snow skiing, watching high school sports and Ole Miss football.

Dr. Thompson and her family are active in the Batesville United Methodist Church as well as St. Peters Episcopal Church in Oxford, Mississippi, where Dr. Thompson has been involved in the Honduras Medical Mission for several years.

As an esteemed member of the dental and local communities, Dr. Thompson is an active member in many of the leading dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Mississippi Dental Association, where she is President of District II, the American Association of Women Dentists, American Orthodontic Society, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the Tri Lakes Dental Study Club, where she has served as President, Vice-President and Secretary/Treasurer. She is also a past member of Junior League of Batesville, Batesville Rotary Club, where she served in several positions and was nominated Paul Harris fellow in 2013, and the Batesville Garden Club, where she is currently serving as the Youth Projects Chairman. Dr. Thompson has also served on the boards of Panola County Humane Society and the Panola Partnership. Dr. Thompson is a life member of the Ole Miss Alumni Association and is a proud life member of the Guardian Society at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry.

Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our team has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Tesa is our business office and insurance manager and has been with the practice since 2004. She takes care of getting our patients registered and checked into our practice. She takes care of checking insurance benefits and filing all insurance claims and deals with patients financial needs. She is in charge of billing, collections and office financing. She is a unique staff member in that she is also trained in chair side assisting and is board certified in radiology. Tesa is a long time Batesville resident, and a graduate of South Panola High School. She is married to Marshall Williams and they have two children, Destiny and Shelton, as well as an adorable dachshund, Bella. Away from the office, Tesa enjoys spending time with her family, as well as church activities at Shiloh Methodist Church. She and her husband also enjoy concerts and spending time with friends.

Heather is a registered dental hygienist, a native of Oxford, Missisisippi and has been with our practice since 1999. She graduated from Oxford High School and Northeast Mississippi Community Colleges dental hygiene program in 1998. Heather has a great deal of experience in dental hygiene, especially in the treatment of periodontal disease. She is also well trained and proficient in one hour laser whitening on patients who want to whiten their teeth in one treatment. Heather has been treating children and adults for 20 years. Outside of the office Heather is a life member of Junior Auxiliary as well as a current member of the Batesville Garden Club. Heather is married to Batesville native, Jim Herron and they have three children, Meri Harbor, Holt and Hayes. Heather enjoys spending time with her kids, home improvement projects, gardening and activities with her family at Batesville Church of Christ.

Susana is one of Dr. Thompsons main chair side dental assistants. Susana is a native of Mexico City, Mexico but came to Batesville in 2005 when she was in the 5th grade. After graduating from South Panola High School, Susana pursued a degree in medical assisting from Delta Technical College in 2017. Susana is unique in that she is bilingual and can translate English to Spanish or vise versa. Susana has been trained to assist with many dental surgical, restorative, orthodontic, endodontic, and facial esthetic procedures. Susanas sweet demeanor and personality make her a favorite with pediatric, disabled and patients that are anxious and nervous when they come to the dentist. She attends Primera Mission Baptist Church with her family. In her time away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Casey and her younger siblings that adore their big sister.

Erica, a native to Ottawa, Illinois moved to Mississippi with her fiancScott Kryger in 2019. Scott has family roots in Oakland and whilevisiting, he and Erica fell in love with our Magnolia state and decided tostay. After 21 years in insurance, Erica decided she needed a career changeand obtained her degree in dental assisting from Illinois Valley CommunityCollege and has never looked back. Erica's background in insurance andbusiness gives her an edge in patient care. Erica has an infectiouspositive personality that patients love. She makes each and every patientfeel welcome and special. When she is not at work, Erica loves fishing,camping, gardening and cooking with Scott, as well as playing with theirdogs and cats. A fun fact about Erica is her love of hunting mushrooms. Shehas a wealth of knowledge and swears the Lion's Main mushroom tastes likeMaryland crab cake when prepared and cooked. Maddie is a registered dental hygienist, a native of Batesville, and has been with our practice since April of 2021. She graduated from North Delta High School in 2016 and Mississippi Delta Community Colleges dental hygiene program in 2020. Maddie enjoys seeing patients of all ages, but has found a love for our pediatric patients. She believes that developing lifelong good oral health begins at a young age, and wants to ensure our pediatric patients have a positive experience every time they come to the dentist. Maddie is married to Cody Gray, and they have four fur-babies, Bentley, Case, Steve, and Ollie. Maddie enjoys all things Ole Miss sports, doing hair and makeup for special events, and attending Calvary Baptist Church.
