Dr. Scott Bowlby enjoys building friendships with his patients. For Dr. Bowlby, creating healthy and beautiful smiles for people whove become his friends is the best part of being an orthodontist. He looks forward to their visits, and is always happy to see their beautiful smiles when out in the community.
Dr. Bowlby actively pursues continuing education opportunities. Understanding that orthodontics is an ever-changing specialty, he knows its essential to remain current on new techniques and technology. Continuing education courses, lectures, and meetings, along with membership in the American Association of Orthodontists, ensure that Dr. Bowlby is able to provide his patients with incredible care.
A native of Minneapolis, MN, Dr. Bowlby now lives in Edina with his family. Spending time with his wife Meggan, son Henry, and daughters Grace, Carolina (CC), and Lucy, is his priority outside of work. Every now and then, though, he manages to get in a round of golf.
Dr. Robert Miller treasures the uniqueness of his patients. He enjoys the relationships that naturally develop at each persons visits, and always looks forward to hearing their latest news. Dr. Miller understands that each patient has specific clinical and personal needs. He encourages patients and parents to speak about their treatment desires, timeline, and other concerns; this allows him to identify the treatment processes which will work for that patient.
During their visits, Dr. Miller makes sure that the patients smile is progressing well and checks that the patient and their family are okay with everything. The day treatment ends and thepatient shares their new smile is the best day for him, Dr. Miller says. He loves knowing his work creates a healthy and beautiful smile that will last for the patients lifetime.
Each year Dr. Miller takes many hours of continuing education. There are always new technologies and treatments being developed; Dr. Miller is committed to making sure hes able to provide the highest level of orthodontic care and that means staying up-to-date. Continuing education ensures hes current on the developments, to the benefit of his patients.
Having grown up in Sioux Falls, SD, Dr. Miller, his wife Jennie, and children Grey and Giana now live in Lakeville, MN. Spending quality time with his family and friends is important to Dr. Miller. When he has time, he also enjoys hunting and fishing, traveling, and cheering for the Twins.

This review is to thank and applaud Dr Bowlby and Lakeville Orthodontics. Our daughter Ainsley has a cleft lip and palette. Her case is very challenging and extensive. While other orthodontist's refused her case, Dr Bowlby energetically accepted our family as clients and my daughter's challenging case. Week after week and month after month, Dr Bowlby impresses us with his compassionate, kind manner. We are receiving exceptional care from Dr Bowlby and his professional team. The university of Mn cleft team also commended Dr Bowlby and his team on outstanding communication and level of care. I would highly recommend Lakeville orthodontics to my friends and family.

This is a great clinic! Staff is incredibly friendly, appointments are quick, and they do an excellent job of explaining your options, what each process entails, and everything related to billing/insurance. Lakeville Orthodontics is a great place to go for excellent quality service and super friendly office staff. I did not compare prices, so I don't know how they stack up against other options. I think all ortho work is expensive, but here you can get a small percentage off for paying the full price up front. We had two kids get braces here and are quite happy with the work they had done.

I visited this office for a consultation and the staff was so warm and welcoming. The doctor was just as great. I felt the information that I received was open an honest. There seemed to be no pressure to hurry up and get it done. It was more like these are your options, talk it over with your dentist and family and then make a decision. The cost was explained thoroughly with lots of payment options. I know all the children in the waiting room seemed very happy.

This place is amazing! I actually had Orthodontic work done elsewhere and had a really bad experience. I decided to finish my treatment with Lakeville Orthodontics and it was well worth the switch. This place is reputable, inviting and friendly. LOVE IT!

I went through braces with Lakeville Ortho as a child/teen and from what I remember it was great! Now as an adult, I need maintenance on my permanent retainer every couple of years. They got me in within 24 hours and fixed my retainer within 10 minutes! Everyone in the office is so kind and helpful. Thank you so much for keeping my teeth nice!

The staff here are so amazingly awesome and do a wonderful job informing me of what's going to happen at every appointment. They are so friendly and welcoming the second I walk in the door. The facility itself is super nice, clean, and spacious. Highly recommend this place!

My kiddo is normally apprehensive and anxious in any new situation but he especially dislikes going to the dentist and having his mouth played with. Your staff (Bonnie I believe was her name) was absolutely wonderful with him! She made him feel comfortable and made him part of the process instead of talking down to him. He told me last night he can't wait to go back! So, for a kiddo who can barely get through a regular check up without tears this was huge! Thank you!
