Lakeville Family Dental Centre was founded in 1986 by two passionate young doctors who wanted to make a difference. Through the years Gary G. Jenos and Karl S. Hedin have maintained their strict ideas and treatment philosophies while adding very select doctors and staff. Today Lakeville Family Dental Centre has become one of the area's premier dental facilities with in-house specialty care in orthodontics and TMJ.

Dr. Karl Hedin, along with Dr. Gary Jenos, established Lakeville Family Dental Centre in 1986. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree, and a graduate of the University Of Minnesota School Of Dentistry.
He resides in Eden Prairie, with his wonderful wife, Nancy, who is a pediatrician, and his two children. He has a daughter, Grace, and a son, Charlie. Other than the family members, his best friend is his yellow Labrador, Lily.
Karl enjoys following sports of all types. He is a diehard Gopher, Viking, and Twins Fan. He will admit that he spends entirely too much time with ESPN. He likes to golf, hike, bike, kayak, read, and spend his leisure time with family and friends. Dr. Hedins career objective is to help people with their dental needs, and to provide quality dental care in a kind and gentle manner. He treats people in a way that reflects how he would like to be treated.

Dr. Schneider was amazing. I needed quite a few fillings and he made sure I was 100% comfortable before starting anything. Super friendly, personable, and always making great dentist jokes! Makes the dentist way more enjoyable after having a not so good one in the past! His assistants, Sharon and Kathy are just as awesome. I highly highly recommend him!

Amazing, professional care team that made my experience wonderful. Diana the hygienist was super friendly and thorough, and Dr. Matt was very informative and supportive.

Ive been going here for years, they are very polite, friendly and professional. I have TMJ, and am happy to have found a dentist that is knowledgeable of TMJ. My last dentist was not and had given advice for my TMJ. In return made it worse, and was not the correct advice/information for my condition. Very pleased with my dentist.

Still charging covid fee, still scanning temps even when they do not have to.

They are charging a 10.00 COVID fee every time and every patient. No other dentist (my kids or husbands) does that. I paid it once but it just feels shady...

I was thinking of switching to this clinic but was asking Lea about specifics and after our conversation ...... I will not be switching. Lea is very unprofessional and will not be giving my business with people that conduct there business as such.

This is by far one of the best dentist offices I have ever been to and I love the new 3D technology and they have done 2 for me which worked out perfect. Very dedicated people. However, they will demand payment when finished with procedures and do not accept Medicare... their only downfall.

I see Dr. Matt Schneider. He is very thorough, explains the procedures and is very competent. Also very personable. Dr. Schneider and his assistant Shannon make a patient feel comfortable during any procedure.

Horrible customer service, specifically Jessica at the front desk. Terribly rude on the phone when she couldn't find my insurance information. When I arrived for my appointment, even more rude. Informed me the appointment was out of network for my insurance and it would be expensive. Go anywhere but to Lakeville Family Dental.
