I cannot praise Lakeview Family Dentists enough. I relocated to the area and was in need of some dental work. I chose Lakeview because they accepted my insurance plan. Ill admit that I am NO fan of going to the dentist, let alone having major dental work done. I had a broken molar and dreaded what I figured was going to happen, and how much it was going to cost. Dr. Markowitz assessed the problem and gave me a couple of very reasonable recommendations.
The work he did was awesome. His manner and professionalism went a long way to eliminating my apprehension. Since then Dr. Markowitz put me on a plan to fix some other minor issues and on a preventive maintenance plan. Minor problems that would have turned into big problems have been fixed. Best of all, the fee for dental work at Lakeview was much lower than what I was accustomed to at my previous, Metro-Boston area dentist office. Prior to dental school,Dr. Markowitzearned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut. Before joining Lakeview Family Dentists, Dr. Markowitz attended an externship at the North Shore Community Center in Salem, MA.
Dr. Coleman is a graduate of the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine, Post-doctoral Master of Science, Specialty training and Board Certification in Periodontics. During his residency, Dr. Coleman was privileged to serve as Chief Resident.
Dr. Coleman is a faculty member at the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine where he serves as a clinical instructor and lecturer in the Department of Periodontology. Recently, Harvard and the American Academy of Periodontology awarded Dr. Coleman with recognition as its Outstanding Educator of 2019. This award was given in part because Dr. Coleman serves as a speaker nationally and internationally to teach on topics of periodontal health and disease, additionally, he has co-authored a dental textbook entitled, Non-Surgical Control of Periodontal Diseases published in 2015 which is used in several dental programs to train new dentists. Among Dr. Colemans achievements, he was named one of Incisal Edge Magazines Top 40 under 40 dentists nationwide.
