Before becoming an endodontist, I practiced general dentistry for several years in the Navy. In many ways, my experiences as a general dentist are essential to my perspective, approach and, ultimately, my capability as an endodontist.
As a Navy dentist, I treated thousands of people from a wide range of backgrounds and with a broad spectrum of conditions. I believe this helped make me a better diagnostician. It also drove home exactly how challenging general dentistry is and gave me the utmost respect for dentists and what they do every day. And it instilled in me, I think, a deeper understanding that my role as a specialist is simply and solely to support your general dentist and protect your oral health.
At the same time, my experience as an endodontist taught me that compassion and commitment are the keys to great care. Only by genuinely caring and personally investing myself in patient care can I provide the excellent results that you deserve and your dentist demands.
Hello, my name is Donna, and my responsibilities at Lakeview Endodontics involve both dental assisting and front desk activities. Its great to partake in the holistic patient experience, and it keeps my day interesting!
Working at Lakeview Endodontics from its beginning has really allowed us to build a strong team of which I am blessed to be part. I enjoy being at a smaller office because I feel it creates a warm and intimate environment for our patients.
As a New Orleans native, my biggest passions center around food, family andarts. After graduating from Mount Carmel Academy, I attended Louisiana State Universitys school of business, receiving a degree in Business Management. My boyfriend Kingsley and I currently live in Lakeview with our two cats, Faye and Popeye, affectionately referred to as Mr. and Mrs. Poodie. A typical weekend for me fills up with yoga classes and trying new restaurants. I never tire of finding fun things to do in this city, but when I do desire a more casual night, I love cooking and entertaining at home.
I have over ten years of experience in pediatric dentistry, and what I enjoy most about my dental career are the opportunities to challenge myself and learn about cases and patients. I am also accomplished at encouraging smiles, so I would say that I am in the right field of work
The best part about working at Lakeview Endodontics is the friendly atmosphere that I get to enjoy every day. Phones ring, and we do the usual things, such as taking radiographs, but I like how we also chat with our patients and do our part to ensure that everyone is comfortable when visiting our office.
Hi, my name is Claire, and I am a dental assistant at Lakeview Endodontics. You will find me assisting in our clinic area or even greeting you in our beautiful lobby. I am incredibly grateful to work at Lakeview Endodontics because working here is like working with family. We walk in with smiles, and we love for our patients to leave with smiles, too.
Most of my childhood was spent in Lakeview, as I grew up right down the street from the office, so this area has always felt like home. Shortly after graduating from De La Salle high school, I went on to receive my dental assisting certification. I furthered my education by receiving my expanded dental duties assisting license from LSU. Since 2013, I have worked in many dental specialities, but I am very glad to have found a home at Lakeview Endodontics.

Although the procedure was painless and quick, the communication lacks at this place. I always ask how much I will have to pay before booking the appointment so I know what to expect. However, when I was in my consultation the Dr. said I needed one more x-ray which would be of no cost. But much to my surprise I was charged an extra $200 for it. When I told the receptionist she said that the dr. always charges for x-rays. I told her to go back and get him which she did not want to do until she realized I was not paying it until I spoke with him. She goes to the back and two minutes later she comes back and says he never said that. Seriously? You expect me to believe that within two minutes you held a discussion with the doctor about my bill? Am I supposed to be stupid or something? So yes, I did get upset which the front desk lady did not like causing her to get an attitude with me. When I asked to speak with the doctor directly she said he was busy. All I could do was laugh and promise myself to never come back here again. As a college student, it is very important for me to know of the costs beforehand as I do not have unlimited funds. Yes, the work he did was good but being lied to and conned into paying a ridiculous amount for an x ray is not worth it. I will go elsewhere for my needs.

I got a root canal done here. My overall experience was fantastic! The staff is excellent, friendly, and professional. And the doc is amazing! I will definitely refer others and return here again if I have to (hopefully I won't though lol).

I am very happy with the services at Lakeview Endodontics. Dr. Miner is the best doctor I have ever seen. You can tell he really cares for his patients. He delivered a painless experience for which I am so grateful! All the staff were kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

From the moment I walked in the building I knew my experience would be amazing. Everyone greets you with a great attitude, but the best part I felt absolutely nothing during my root canal. I had trouble in the past with getting numb as soon as I told Dr. Miner he knew exactly what i needed.

Dr Miner and his team were excellent and he/they did an amazing job!! I was referred by my dentist - got in the same day. Lakeview utilizes cutting edge endodontical equipment and technology. Had an emergency root canal , Dr Miner was highly recommended by my dentist, Dr. Miner and his staff were very accommodating, prompt and rendered most competent care, hard to believe, but that root canal was an extremely pleasant experience with the most competent Dentist in New Orleans . Highly recommend Dr. Miner and his most competent staff, and his extremely well equipped clinic that looks more like a futuristic space ship than the mundane usual looking dental clinic. I'd been having a tooth bother me for about a week before I went to see about it. I called Lakeview Endodontics and they were able to see the same day!! I was EXTREMELY nervous as I'd never needed a root canal before! I can honestly say once you walk through the door the staff makes you feel comfortable. Dr.Miner was very informative throughout the entire process and assured me they'd care of me and the tooth! It went better than I anticipated and was really painless ( I may have felt a LITTLE pressure twice but that was it ) ! I am VERY pleased with this office and their work, I'd recommend them to everyone I know and give them 100 stars if I can. No bluff, they really helped me to feel better! Thanks guys - You are appreciated!!
