Dr. Ryu received his Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, in New York City graduating in May of 1992. He worked in the engineering field, but he was not happy. In1994, he entered New York University College of Dentistry where he received his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery in May of 1998. Dr. Ryu also completed an Advance Education in General Dentistry in June of 1999 from Columbia University School of Dentistry and Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Ryu has been in both public and private practices. He was chosen as a recipient for the State of New Jerseys Health Care Provider Loan Redemption Program for providing access to care for the underserved. From 1999 till 2002, he practiced in a private practice and a community health center in New Jersey.

Always the best of care, great personable staff and doctor, they have always been there when my family needed them for regular dental care and a horrible dental emergency we had with one of my daughters, they fixed her up years ago with no lasting damage. So grateful to Dr. Ryu and his staff.

This was my daughter's first trip to the dentist. She tends to be very shy around strangers and I was really worried about how her first appointment might go. As usual, Dr. Ryu and his team went above and beyond to make her visit a positive and comfortable experience. Knowing that my daughter is bilingual, Dr. Ryu asked if she preferred English or Espanol, before counting each of her teeth in Spanish. They weren't just nice to her. They connected with her and were genuinely loving. After giving Dr. Ryu a high-five, my daughter was so excited to show me how clean her teeth were. It was a wonderfully positive experience for her that really put us at ease. My wife and I are so grateful to have found such an amazing family practice for ourselves and now our daughter.

I really appreciate the people who are at this office! The office staff is welcoming and genuinely nice. Dr. RYU is amazing and is quick and painless. I just had a teeth cleanin' by Venus. I would recommend her for anyone. She is gentle and caring. I have honestly hated having anyone work on my mouth, but they have changed me! Thank you to everyone there help others have a good experience

The 2 ladies in the front are very helpful and they know what they are doing ( Vanessa & Ruby ) I have had Antonia for my recent visits and I couldn't ask for anyone else she is nice and works really well I wouldn't like to change my assistant. We have been going to Dr Ryu for 11 years. We have been so happy with the staff and Dr Ryu. He has figured out issues that past Dentists have misdiagnosed. What I appreciate most is there is no pressure to have unneeded procedures done, but a wealth of knowledge.

My whole family has been seeing Dr. Ryu for last decade whatever related to dental issues come up and regular cleaning. No more concern for dental matters since he is there with full of knowledge and great skill. So appreciate it. Strongly recommend him and his clinic to everyone!

I definitely do not love going to the dentist, but Dr. Ryu and his awesome staff make me feel very comfortable. Ruby, Vanessa and Cory were nothing short of perfect. Highly recommend!
