First, make sure you stay hydrated by sipping on water throughout the day. For your dental & overall health, you should drink lots of water anyway! Dehydration, which dry mouth can be a sign of, is a serious health risk.

Other simple things you can do to treat dry mouth include chewing sugarless gum & limiting the salt, sugar & caffeinated drinks in your diet. Some people might recommend sucking on an ice cube or sugarless hard candy, but this can actually damage your teeth, so dont do it! You can also purchase nonprescription saliva substitutes over the counter to reduce your current issues.

If you use tobacco or drink alcohol, cut back on those or find a way to quit. Even if you dont think smoking or drinking is the root cause, those activities can irritate a dry mouth, so you should limit or stop them entirely. Plus, theyre just bad for you!

The best treatment for dry mouth always depends on the specific cause, so if home remedies or over-the-counter solutions dont prevent your dry mouth, it can indicate a more serious underlying health issue. In serious cases it is best to visit a physician or dentist who can work with you to figure out the root cause of your dry mouth & help you treat it.

Dr. Jonathan Hill was born and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. After high school, he went on to Saint Josephs University in Philadelphia to study biology with a minor in fine art. Following college, he merged his art skills and love of science by pursuing a career in medical illustration. Subsequent to strengthening his portfolio at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Dr. Hill went on to acquire a masters degree in medical illustration from the Medical College of Georgia. While there, he received two awards for his excellence in medical illustration. After two years of professional illustration, he decided to apply his skills to dentistry.

Since his graduation from Temple University School of Dentistry, he has been working in private practice as a general dentist in the South Jersey area. He is proficient in family and cosmetic dentistry, as well as endodontics, oral surgery, invisalign and implantology. Patients have come to know Dr. Hill for his gentle touch and comforting chairside manner.

Dr. Eric Forte was born in Voorhees, New Jersey, and is one of the driving forces behind Lakeview Dental Care. He graduated from Drexel University in 1996 with a degree in graphic design. Clearly, this was an unusual path toward dentistry, but Dr. Fortes talents and expertise in art are what fueled his love of dentistry and the beauty of the smile. He graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2002, earning many honors and awards, including:

Dr. Forte acquired his practice in 2005, and has since grown the practice considerably. His expertise is in practicing highly proficient dentistry while making each and every individual feel cared for. Dr. Forte is highly skilled and experienced in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry, including endodontics, veneers, crown and bridge, and implant placement and restorations. Dr. Fortes ability, enthusiasm, and professionalism show in his dedication to the patients. Dr. Forte has recently moved to Medford, NJ, with his loving wife Jennifer and their beautiful daughters Isabella and Brielle.

Alan began his dental career in New Brunswick, NJ, as an associate with Dr. David Schwartz, a Prosthodontist, from 1970-1972. He then started his own private general practice in Cherry Hill, NJ, in 1972, and is going on 40 years.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Southern Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1982.

Alan has served in an expanded capacity with several organizations over the years. He was past President of the Philadelphia Alumni Chapter of the Alpha Omega Fraternity; past President of the Cam-Bur Dental Study Club; and past Chairman of the Public Relations Communication Committee of the Southern Dental Society.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Michael Guthrie earned a Bachelor of Industrial Chemistry and Management from Washington and Jefferson College. While attending Washington and Jefferson, Dr. Guthrie was a member of the Mens Ice Hockey team and the Phi Kappa Psi National Fraternity. Research he completed while in college has also been published in Washington and Jeffersons Physical Chemistry Applications and Theory Journal titled Enthalpy Changes Through the Decomposition of Hydrogen Peroxide with Various Iron Catalysts Using Solution Calorimetry.

Following graduation, he went on to attend the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where he received the Frank E. Jefferys Scholarship for Academic Excellence. After dental school, Dr. Guthrie furthered his training right here in Camden County at Virtua Hospitals one year General Practice Residency program. While there, he achieved advanced training in all aspects of dentistry including Prosthodontics, Endodontics, and Cosmetic Dentistry. In addition to being a member of the local dental association, Dr. Guthrie is a member of the New Jersey Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and American Dental Association. Dr. Guthrie is an integral part of our team of doctors at Lakeview Dental Care.

Dr. Michael Massoud attended Rutgers University to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences. He then completed his dental education at Temple University, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Massoud chose to become a dentist because of the combination of art & science, & because he enjoys developing great doctor-patient relationships. His professional philosophy is to treat patients like family & provide the best possible dentistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association & the American Dental Education Association. He continues his education by taking courses in implantology & maintains Invisalign certification. In his spare time, Dr. Massoud enjoys soccer, going to the gym, spending time with family & friends, going to the beach & exploring cities.

Dr. Peter Mikhail attended Rutgers University for his undergraduate & graduate studies. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in cellular biology & neuroscience followed by a Master of Science degree in oral microbiology. He then continued his education at the Temple University School of Dental Medicine to receive a Doctorate in Dental Medicine & graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Mikhail became a dentist for the art & science of the profession. He has a special interest in comprehensive oral diagnosis & treatment planning, simple & surgical tooth extractions, complete & removable partial dentures, crowns & bridges, single implant restorations, root canal treatment, scaling & root planing, & composite & porcelain veneers. His approach to dentistry is conservative & patient-centric, always keeping the patients wants & needs a main priority. Dr. Mikhail prides himself on being a compassionate clinician who will only provide his patients with the best care in a respectful manner. Dr. Mikhail is currently undergoing extensive continuing education in implantology & plans on becoming a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Joel Hasbun was born & raised in South Jersey by Dominican parents. He obtained his Bachelors in Biology from The College of New Jersey. He then attended Rutgers School of Dental Medicine & received his DMD degree. During his senior year, he provided dental care to underserved communities in the area, where he would see medically compromised patients on regular basis. Dr. Hasbun believes in providing quality dental care to his patients while establishing long-lasting relationships with them. He regularly takes continuing education courses to make sure he stays up to date with the latest techniques & materials used in all facets of dentistry. It is very important to him to create a stress-free environment for all of his patients & to help them stay well-informed. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, New Jersey Dental Association & the Southern New Jersey Dental Society. In his free time, Dr. Hasbun enjoys watching & playing sports, listening to several types of music, staying fit & traveling.

Dr. Eden Seitomer grew up near Princeton, New Jersey and attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, majoring in Molecular Biology in Biochemistry. There he graduated with honors and worked in a research lab, publishing two scientific papers. While he loved science, he missed bonding and interacting with people. This led him to attend the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine with honors.

Eden completed his postgraduate education at a residency program in Staten Island University Hospital. He has extensive training in the latest advancements in cosmetic dentistry and keeps up to date with the newest dental technology. Beyond that, Eden is well adept at taking care of patients needs. He is nurturing and compassionate, and committed to making the dental experience pleasurable and productive.

Dr. Ashley Nelson grew up locally in Medford, New Jersey. She earned her dental degree from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, where she graduated magna cum laude & received the Dr. Anthony A. Campanella Award for Academic Excellence. She also holds a bachelors degree in biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she was a member of Theta Phi Alpha & the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honors Society. Dr. Nelson believes in providing conservative, comprehensive dentistry for her patients in a comfortable & pleasant atmosphere. Dr. Nelson is an active member of the New Jersey Dental Association & the American Dental Association. When she is not practicing dentistry, she & her husband enjoy cooking, attending concerts, traveling & spending time with their family.

Dr. Kunal Sachanandani is a South Jersey native & grew up in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. He attended Richard Stockton University for his undergraduate studies. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology & graduated Summa Cum Laude. He then continued his education at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine to receive a Doctorate in Dental Medicine.

Dr. Sachanandani is passionate & places great emphasis on the quality of care for his patients. Dr. Sachanandani is an active member of the New Jersey Dental Association & American Dental Association. Outside of the office, Dr. Sachanandani spends his time with his family, traveling, playing tennis, & going to the gym.

Dr. Monica Binsol, originally from Livingston, New Jersey, has over 10 years experience in dentistry. She began her journey with her family dentist, first at the front desk and eventually as a dental assistant.

Graduating first in her class with the honor of Summa Cum Laude, Dr. Binsol earned her Bachelors Degree in Biology with a Minors degree in Business and Chemistry at Montclair State University. She then received her doctorate at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where she and her colleagues completed a mission trip to La Romana, Dominican Republic. She continued her education by completing a General Practice Residency at St. Lukes University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This allowed her to increase her dental and hospital experience, including testing patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Binsols compassion allows her to create a welcoming, friendly and comfortable environment for all patients while providing high quality dentistry. She is an active member of the New Jersey Dental Association, American Dental Education Association, and New Jersey Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Charmie Soni was born in India and grew up in Dubai, UAE. She moved to the United States in 2004 to continue her college education and completed her undergraduate degree in Biology and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2012. In total Dr. Soni spent eight years at Temple University and was selected to be a part of the promotional video for Temple Kornberg School of Dentistry. Dr. Soni has started her journey as a General Dentist by building personal relationships with her patients of all ages and backgrounds.

At Lakeview Dental Care, Dr. Soni is dedicated in providing the highest standard of care to all her patients by using clinically proven materials and technologies and in an office setting that is relaxing and comfortable. Dr. Gaurav Shah was born and raised in New Jersey. He obtained his Bachelors in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ after 3 years. He then went on to attend Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, NJ and received his DMD degree. While studying in Dental School, Dr. Shah spent part of his free time researching and staying up to date with the most current topics in dentistry. His research has earned him multiple honors and awards such as: a seat as an Oral Session Chair Presenter at the International Association for Dental Research in San Francisco, CA; the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Certificate for Excellence in Research; and the New York Academy of Dentistrys Summer Research Grant. Following graduation, Dr. Shah decided on continuing his formal training and hone his skills by pursuing a General Practice Residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ. He enjoys providing comprehensive treatment to all his patients with a cool, calm, and collected demeanor. Outside of the dental office, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time in nature, staying fit, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Peter Hoang is local to South Jersey & was raised in Pennsauken. After graduating from Pennsauken High School, he went to Rutgers University in New Brunswick & obtained a bachelors degree in exercise science. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Hoang spent his fourth year of dental school at the University Dental Center in Somerdale, NJ, providing dental care to medically complex patients & underserved populations.

Dr. Hoang is compassionate & understanding with his patients, ensuring that they have a positive experience & that their concerns are addressed. Having spent most of his life in South Jersey, Dr. Hoang is passionate about providing the highest standard of dental care for this community.

Dr. Stefanie Fetters is originally from Delaware County, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Temple University with an undergraduate degree in biology. Dr. Fetters pursued an Expanded Functions Dental Assisting degree, which grew her love of dentistry & ultimately led her to become a dentist. She returned to Temple University for her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

Dr. Fetters is well versed in all aspects of general dentistry, with a focus on providing a relaxing experience for even the most anxious patients. Dr. Heejung Kim is originally from Seoul, South Korea, but has been practicing general dentistry in Philadelphia & South Jersey for the past 9 years. Dr. Kim attended Johns Hopkins University where she earned a bachelor of science in public health in 2008. She then received her doctorate degree at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2020, Dr. Kim completed the Rutgers University of Dental Medicine AAID MaxiCourse to further advance her skills in dental implants.
