Dr. Eric is a proud Muskegon native, and after having practiced in Florida for a few years, hes thrilled to come home and serve the community that has given him so much. Hes eager to catch up with old friends and form new relationships that will last for decades to come. They are both Fellows of the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction earned by less than 6% of general dentists in the US and Canada. It demonstrates their commitment to education and only providing the most advanced and effective dental care possible.

Dr. Ariel was born and raised in Naples, FL, and she says the best part of her job is helping people feel excited about smiling again. Nothing makes her happier than seeing a patients face after they look at their smile for the first time after undergoing treatment. Dr. Ariel takes pride in restoring the teeth to their healthiest state while still maintaining a delicate approach. To start getting to know Dr. Ariel, keep reading!

When she was a child, Dr. Ariel had a few dental accidentsshe fell down the stairs and ran into a friend while playing tag! Her two front teeth were yellow and grey due to the trauma, so when her permanent teeth erupted, she was ecstatic they were white. Taking care of her teeth was a big priority from a young age, and she knew she wanted to share that passion with others by becoming a dentist.

After high school, Dr. Ariel continued on to the University of Florida for her Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating cum laude in 2012. She then earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan, with the special recognition of the Comprehensive Care Award, which she received for her commitment to excellence in dentistry and patient care.

Even though she is out of school, her insatiable thirst for education has never stopped! Dr. Ariel is an active member of the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry, through which she continues to stay up to date on the latest technology, materials, and techniques. She recently obtained her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). Less than 5% of dentists nationwide have achieved this accreditation. She is also taking part in the Pankey Essentials program at the Pankey Institute, one of the most prestigious postgraduate educational institutions in all of dentistry.

If she isnt spending time with her three siblings, youll most likely find Dr. Ariel attending Orange Theory Fitness classes, working out, reading nonfiction, or hiking (her goal is to visit all of the U.S. National Parks). She also enjoys getting out on the water to go lobstering or fishing. She also takes care of her beautiful cats as a hobby!

Dr. Eric Heisser was born and raised in Muskegon and attended Fruitport High School. After practicing in Bonita Springs, Florida for a few years, hes excited to be back home and closer to family. Hes thrilled that he gets to serve his hometown, and he feels truly fortunate to work alongside a veteran team that allows him to deliver truly world-class dental care and service to each patient.

The dentist that Dr. Eric grew up seeing was always so happy and upbeat, and this really made an impression on him. In addition to these positive experiences, Dr. Eric also consistently excelled in school, particularly when it came to science, and he liked working with people as well. Dentistry seemed like the perfect fit because it would allow him to combine his passions while helping people improve their health and appearance, all while owning his own business.

Dr. Eric graduated cum laude from the top-ranked University of Michigan School of Dentistry after earning his Bachelors of Biology at U of M. Since graduating, he has continued to build off his exceptional foundation by completing more than 500 hours of continuing education courses.

To date, he has achieved recognition as a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists as well as the Academy of General Dentistry (an accomplishment achieved by only 6% of dentists in the United States and Canada). Dr. Eric is currently a member of the American Dental Association and Michigan Dental Association. He has also completed advanced training through prestigious post-graduate institutions including the Pankey Institute, Dawson Academy, and SPEAR Education.

Dr. Erics parents, grandparents, and 12 cousins all live in West Michigan. He considers his cousins to be his best friends, and thanks to their 13 children, everyone stays busy and enjoys a lot of quality family time. He and his family are avid outdoorsmen who love to fish and hunt; he looks forward to the deer camp in the fall and hunting Morel mushrooms in the spring. He also likes staying active by lifting weights, which he says frees up his diet and allows him to indulge in his passion for buffalo wings!
