Dr. Dede Orraca-Tetteh was born in Ghana, West Africa, and moved to the United States at the age of 4 to live with her father and his family outside of Philadelphia. As a child, Dr. she always dreamed of dedicating her time to helping others so, a career in healthcare seemed a natural fit for her.
Dr. Orraca-Tetteh moved to Baltimore in 1997 to attend Johns Hopkins University. She graduated in 2001 with a BA in history of science, medicine, and technology. Upon graduating, Dr. she spent years working in medical research at the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins Hospital. While working at the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center Department of Head and Neck Cancer, Dr. Orraca-Tetteh was inspired to explore a dental career by one of the dentists she worked with on a research study. After shadowing several dentists, she realized she had found her calling.
Dr. Orraca-Tetteh obtained her DDS degree from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2010 and subsequently completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the Perry Point Veterans Affairs Hospital in 2011. Upon completing her residency in 2011, she immediately entered private practice. She sees patients of every age and especially enjoys forming relationships with families from toddlers to grandparents.
Dr. Dede Orraca-Tetteh has practiced in Owings Mills since 2010. She is honored to have her own dental practice in this area since the people in the community have been so welcoming to her. She strives to provide stellar care to patients with a relaxed, honest, and warm approach.
Dr. Dede Orraca-Tetteh is an active member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In order to provide superior care to her patient base, she continually attends advanced courses in general dentistry.
Dr. Dede Orraca-Tetteh has a love of technology and stays abreast of all the cutting-edge advancements in dentistry that will ensure a more efficient dental experience for her patients. She looks forward to making Lakeside Village Dental your new dental home! When is she not serving her patients, she is playing the biggest role in her life as a mother to her two young boys, Manny and Laye, and wife to her loving Husband, Ibru.
Linda has known Dr. O for years since she was an assistant at a previous office where Dr. O was an associate. They formed a quick and tight bond, so it only seemed natural she would join the practice! She enjoys helping patients throughout their dental experience and has a whip smart sense of humor. She is very meticulous and keeps the office very well organized and efficient. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, 3-year-old Jaxson and newborn baby girl, Harper.

Let me start by saying I absolutely loved this place when I originally came in. TODAY changed all of that. I found out today that Dr. O is very cocky and rude. They left my son in a room by himself with him mouth open and bleeding while she tended to other patients. That's not a huge problem but when you walk away from a patient you should at least tell them you are stepping away and why. Not just walk away and leave them sitting not knowing what's going on. It's now been 20 minutes and counting that he's sitting here like this. There was also another mother with an issue with them to. Edited to add: Keep in mind Dr. O was nasty with me because of my concern but they are the ones who called my son in early. If you are already busy why call a patient in early. Then they gave my son no pain meds after having 2 extractions and fill ins.

Great staff and even better music.. you can watch a movie while being serviced to ease your mind. All my services are done professionally and perfect. The cute decor is awesome too!

This place was truly amazing. I am a new patient and I am always nervous when going to the dentist. The staff is truly amazing and I really mean that. From the front to the back. Dr. O was the absolute best Doctor I've ever been to. I needed to get my wisdom tooth pulled for over 10 years and pushed it off until yesterday 8/10/2022. I had no pain at all even after the numbness wore off. She even reached out to me via text later that evening to check on me. WOW, 10 STARS. If your nervous about going to the dentist like I am don't be you will be in GREAT hands. Thank You Dr. O & your staff. My fear of the dentist is now gone. Chris

100/10 best experience Everyone is so kind the front desk staff are so sweet at all times, the nurses and doctor were constantly making sure I was feeling comfortable, the place is so clean. by far one of the best customer service I have ever had.

For someone who is normally VERY anxious about going to the dentist, I felt so comfortable at this office. It is impeccably clean and the dental hygienist Mrs. Jones, was amazing! She was super gentle, talked me through everything and calmed my nerves. I've never felt this relaxed/great during or after a teeth cleaning. Highly recommend!!

Such a friendly and caring staff. I have a lot of anxiety disorders but even so, they put me at ease, took care to be as understanding and proactive with even that part of my treatment as well as their dentistry, which was by far the best well explained and very efficient dentistry service I have ever received. So happy to have made this appointment. I've found a new lifetime dentist.

I felt very comfortable with my first visit. The whole staff was kind and made me feel very welcomed. Everyone answered my questions clearly and had great attitudes with their service. I will definitely recommend this establishment to my friends and family.

I am absolutely scared of the dentist. When I walked in I felt a since of calmness the staff was really kind. When I met Dr O she was so nice and caring. She took her time with me and treated me like a patient. I got an extraction and it was smooth I'm hard to numb and Dr O takes her time with me. Took my kids the next time and they were happy as well. I'm so happy I found a caring, clean beautiful dentistry environment

I had a very bad experienced from dr Dede and her staff.She even let her staff to do the anesthesia without experience.My gum was very painful! When you asked them about your insurance if it will cover your bill.They will say It will covered your bill.After several months you will receive a letter from debt collector.

I just got off the phone making an appointment for my 2 year old. I only called because I received a flyer in the mail and the practice is close to my house so I figured I'd give them a try for my toddlers first dentist appointment. The receptionist was very dry and it was loud talking and laughing in the background which made it hard to hear or concentrate on what the receptionist was saying. I will be canceling my appointment as first impressions mean everything to me and if this type of unprofessional environment is what's going on I'd rather take my child somewhere else.

My experience was not good!! Had a crown and filling. Extreme gum pain following both procedures for weeks and persisting! Gums with cuts? Crown ill shaped. I will not go back. She works very quickly and mostly alone which is different. Never discussed my treatment plan with me just emailed. This is my experience and an absolutely honest review!

First timer here. This is a great place. Very clean and positive atmosphere. Front desk is extremely pleasant, professional, and profiecient. Hygienist Michelle was top notch with great "bed side manner". Dr. Tetteh uses new technology for xrays. She should be very proud of her practice.

Dr O and her team are very friendly and professional. I just came into town and needed a new dentist as an emergency. She was able to see me right away and do a root canal and crown. I am finally no longer in pain! Thank you!!

Dr. O and her staff are always very professional, friendly, polite, and attentive to you needs and desire. They're very knowledgeable of the procedures if you need more explanation concerning your concerns. I love them because each and everyone can assist you with any concerns you may have.
