Dr. Ryan Salamon is a graduate of the University of New England College of Dental Medicine in Portland, Maine. Although originally from Wisconsin, him and his wife have come to love everything Maine has to offer over the past 6 years, and decided to make it their permanent home.
As a child, Dr. Salamon experienced his own dental trauma due to a sports injury. He understands that going to the dentist can be an anxiety-ridden experience. It is his first priority to get his patients free of pain in a comfortable, family-friendly setting.
Hello, my name is Doris Newbury. I am the Patient Care Coordinator at Lakeside Dental. I have been working here for almost two years. I have lived in Maine for nearly 40 years. I have five beautiful children, and six wonderful grandkids.
Hi Im Michelle. I have had the pleasure of being a part of this dental office for 10 years. While my main focus as Dr. Salamons assistant is making sure patients are comfortable and understand the treatment they are receiving; I can also be found beebopping in the dental lab fabricating mouthguards and custom trays.
When not at the practice, I can be found cheering on my kiddos on either a softball field, the pitch, or basketball court. If Im not there I am most likely coordinating the next dog transport and foster families for Rescue Charlies Friends dog rescue.
Lakeside is my 2nd family. We have the best patients, the most fun, and of course, top notch dental care. Having a family at work makes me love coming in everyday. Its not work if you love what you do!
Hi, my name is Paxton. I recently graduated from the University of New England Dental Hygiene program in May of 2019. I have been working at Lakeside Dental since the middle of June. I have lived in Maine almost my entire life, and attended Monmouth Academy.
I always knew I wanted to be a dental hygieniest because I always had such a positive experience as a kid. My favorite part of Lakeside Dental is the low-pressure, welcoming environment radiated by the entire staff.

The dentist himself is very nice and easy to see. My hygienists is very very nice, laid back, efficient, and great at her job! My 5 yo daughters hygienist is very good with kids and my daughter loves getting her teeth cleaned with her. The office is neat and comfortable. The secretary is very kind,understanding, and helpful! Lakeside dental is the most chill laid back dentist experience I've ever had! Thanks guys!

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent care. Paxton is very gentle and thorough and Dr. Salamon is a great dentist and person. Felt comfortable immediately. Wife and two kids felt the same way.

I'm 55 years old and I have always had bad experiences with the dentist. I have been going to Lakeside Dental for about 4 years now and I'm pleased to say that I no longer get anxious before visits, rarely ever miss an appointment and now I just get cleanings done.

Looking for a great dentist with caring and compassionate staff??!! Well Lakeside Dental is the place to go! Katy was such a gentle hygienist and took her time explaining the steps as they are different in our new normal Covid world. Dr Salomon is as wholesome and peaceful, happy to see his practice grow in the coming years! Bonus... they accept Delta Dental!!

I am a patient that has always struggled with a gag reflex. I mentioned this to the Doc at the start of the procedure. I have never had a dentist that was so kind and considerate of my problem. So despite a difficult procedure, my gag reflex never showed up! This was due to their skills, professionalism and patience. Thanks to all the staff!

I always appreciate a place that gives not amazing news well. Staff was very attentive. Very unassuming place, when I saw the building it made me double check I was in the right place, but I am happy I chose them.
