Dr. Blalock grew up on a beef cattle farm in Crossville, TN. The time he spent working on the farm taught Dr. Blalock valuable problem-solving skills and a good work ethic. After Dr. Blalock suffered a dental injury when a cows hoof contacted his teeth, his dentist repaired his smile and sparked a fascination for the art of dentistry. Because of that experience, Dr. Blalock realized his calling was to become a dentist. He loves that dental work gives him the ability to work creatively with his hands while interacting with patients and making a positive impact on their lives.Dr. Blalock graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Tech University with an undergraduate degree in health science biology. He went on to graduate with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. In college, Dr. Blalock met some of his best friends, and together, they now host an international dental podcast called The Life and Dentistry Podcast. This passion project provides a platform that allows him to educate and motivate other dentists around the world. Dr. Blalock is grateful that the podcast allows him to get together and travel the country with his best friends.Dr. Blalock is committed to providing his patients with the best possible care. To facilitate this, he has dedicated countless hours to attending continuing education and certification courses in an effort to continually grow and improve his practice.When hes not at Lakeside Dental, Dr. Blalock can be found spending time with friends and family, watching sports, or recording episodes for his podcast.

A very nice and accommodating dental office. I came in after having ignored my teeth for years. They have rebuilt nearly 90% of my mouth while trying to save as many of my original teeth as they could. Highly recommended!
