Dr. Andrew Heaton was born and raised in Southern Utah and spent his childhood playing little league, raising chickens, and working in his familys garden. As he grew up he found that his first love was sports. But, it didnt take long for him to realize that his second passion in life was dentistry.
After obtaining his bachelors degree from Southern Utah University he was accepted the University of Southern California for dental school. There he not only served the adults and children of the greater Los Angeles area, but also worked with AYUDA, a non-profit organization that reaches out to provide free dental work to underserved children. With this group he gave his Saturdays to local free clinics and also had the opportunity to travel to Belize, Mexico, and Nicaragua to help children who would never have had the resources to get their dental work done otherwise. It was during this time that he realized that making a difference in the current and future health of a child was what he most wanted to do with his career.
From that point forward he focused on pediatrics (childrens dentistry). Upon completion of his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at USC in 2009 he was accepted into a pediatric dental residency at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans Louisiana. For two years he worked in Childrens Hospital New Orleans providing specialized dental care to children of varying backgrounds and health needs.
Dr. Heaton married his wife Candice during the first of his many years of schooling and training. Together they have six children. In June 2011 he completed his residency and moved to Texas to open All Star Childrens Dentistry. In November of 2012, Dr. Heaton was awarded the title of Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry after achieving board certification.
Growing up in Austin and New Braunfels, Dr. Campbell spent many summers in the Texas Hill Country, which she fell in love with from the minute she saw her first sunrise over a bluff and jumped in the Frio River. Her adventures in life have taken her many places, but Texas will always be home. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to work in Marble Falls at Lakeside Childrens Dentistry.
After graduating from New Braunfels High School (and forever a proud Unicorn), Dr. Campbell attended Texas A & M University in College Station, then continued her education at Texas A & M Health Science Center, Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Certain her life calling was to work with children, she completed her pediatric residency program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. She has been published in Pediatric Dentistry and received the Paul P. Taylor award (2014) for her work, awarded to the most prestigious journal article in Pediatric Dentistry from the previous year. She is a board certified pediatric dentist and member of the AAPD, ABPD, and our local dental society.
When not busy at work, she serves as CEO of the Campbell family which includes her husband and three children. Afternoons and evenings are spent at baseball fields, jumping on the trampoline, turning furniture into tents, and simply having fun! She feels beyond blessed to have an amazing family that loves and supports her in everything she does.
They say when you find something you truly love, then youll never work a day in your life. That is how Dr. Campbell feels about pediatric dentistry. Each day is an opportunity to meet and help others, starting each child on a lifelong journey of achieving good dental health, along with being the proud owner of a beautiful smile!
A native of Dugway Utah, Dr. Wyatt attended Southern Utah University where he received a BS in zoology. After his time in southern Utah he then moved to Kentucky to attend the University of Louisville. There, he earned a Masters in Public Health and the degree Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Wyatt participated in various service organizations which further confirmed his desire to specialize in order to better provide services to the pediatric population and those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. After dental school he completed a Fellowship in Developmental Dentistry at the Lee Specialty Clinic and a Clerkship at the Orange Grove Center, both clinics specifically tailored to the unique needs of individuals with ID/DD. Prior to moving to Texas, he obtained a Masters of Science in Dentistry with postdoctoral certificate in pediatric dentistry from Indiana University.
Dr. Wyatt and his wife Megan have five children born in four different states. Together they all enjoy outdoor activities, dance parties, and any other form of fun they can find. Dr. Wyatt also enjoys playing sports, attending sporting events, and trying to be as helpful as he can as a pediatric dentist.
Sarah Severson, DDS, was born and raised in Austin, Texas! Dr. Sarah graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University, earned her DDS from Baylor College of Dentistry, and completed her pediatric dental residency at the Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin. Her training offered extensive experiences in sedation, dental trauma and treating children with special health care needs. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Sarah is very excited be back home in central Texas! In her free time, she enjoys outdoor adventures, live music, new restaurants, traveling and spending time with her fianc, Joe and their dog, Luna.

Updating a final time from 4 stars to 5 stars based on the past few interactions with Dr. Campbell and her crew. Really amazing people who work to remedy situations fairly quickly. I'm so thankful they were able to respond to an emergency situation immediately for my daughter and extract her tooth yesterday. Thank you a thousand times over! EDITED: I updated my review from 3 to 4 stars because of Dr. Campbell's follow up. She mentioned Dr. Severson attempted to follow up with me, but apparently she called my ex-husband who lives in Idaho. Not sure about that mixup, but I'm thankful Dr. Campbell personally reached out and went over my daughter's x-rays with me. I appreciate any owner who takes reviews seriously and works to remediate the issues. I waited a few days to write a review in case the doctor wanted to follow up on our case, but I guess she is either too busy or we're too unimportant, so I've decided to write about our experience here. We were initially referred here by Main Street Dental, which is where I have started going for dental checkups. Crystal the hygienist did a fantastic job, so I trusted her recommendation for my kids. I will say, the entire Lakeside staff seemed to be very kind and caring. My only complaint is with Dr. Severson. I know I'm that mom who questions everything, even the research and science behind recommended treatments. As a parent, it's my responsibility to do this and I feel like I should still be treated with the same respect and dignity as any other parent. Unfortunately, I didn't get that feeling with Dr. Severson. For one, she seemed shocked when I asked her what she was putting on my daughter's teeth, and when I found out and explained that it made my oldest have stomach pain, she almost dismissed my complaint by saying (not verbatim), "most parents don't have any issues with it." It seemed like her tone with me shifted after this and I think she made the assumption that I was the kind of mom who didn't want fluoride treatments for my kids. She would've been right, but that didn't mean I would bat down everything she recommended. The next issue was with x-rays. Shortly after this interaction, she made us retake x-rays and said she couldn't read the ones that were taken earlier in the year by our previous dentist. Yes, I was trying to hold off on taking anymore x-rays right now and they even made me sign an x-ray refusal form prior to seeing the doctor even though I said I was okay with yearly ones, so it definitely felt like this was an ego trip with Dr. Severson. They took my daughter two seats over to do these and said the doctor would be back afterwards. Well, I guess my feeling was confirmed because the doctor never came back. Instead, the assistant came back and gave me the treatment plan while attempting to explain what was wrong with my daughter's teeth. She just made me more confused because she was using medical terminology I never understood before like distal occlusal, etc. I walked away still not understanding everything that was wrong with my daughter's teeth and that's okay, because I'd rather go somewhere where we actually felt respected anyway. When I asked why the doctor didn't come back and explain the issues, they said she was tending to other patients. Before leaving, I asked them to cancel my future appointments and told them we would not be back. One of the front desk ladies seemed genuinely saddened to hear about our experience and tried to help explain, but it's not her job to do that, it's the dentist's job and if Dr. Severson was too busy or too proud to make time for us to explain why that particular treatment plan was necessary for my daughter, then she doesn't deserve anymore of our time either. To the parents who want a more holistic dentist, one who will respect your wishes and explain issues and treatments to you in layman terms, go to Dr. Hannah at Treehouse Dentistry. The only reason I came to Lakeside is because of the schedule conflicts I was having with Treehouse and my work schedule, but I will definitely make time for her now.

It was my daughters first time at the dentist. EVERYONE front the ladies up front, the techs and the dentist were SO PATIENT, KIND and CARING! It made my cry with joy to be honest. I couldn't be happier with the entire staff!!!!! Thank you all so very very very much!!!!!

Both our 11 year old son (with severe ADHD) and 6 year old daughter loved going to the dentist. Neither of the were afraid or intimidated, both were completely relaxed. For our son that is a great accomplishment. Lakeside Children's Dentistry is definitely the best pediatric dentist. Everyone was so friendly and great with our kids. Thank you so much.

Had a wonderful visit. I have a little boy that does not like dentist because he has not had very good visits. But my niece recommended Lakeside and he did so good here. They are great here would highly recommend.

Each visit exceeds my expectations! My boys require a little extra care during this phase of their life, and ALL staff members go the extra mile in making everyone comfortable + happy! One time we had an after hour emergency and I was blown away at the customer service, empathy, and generous attention we received. Couldn't recommend this practice more!

Absolutely loved it! Great, comfortable dentistry for kids. The dentist was super great and my son seemed very calm, even for his first time at the dentist ever! The atmosphere helped the nerves for a first time visit :)

Lakeside was amazing. Their staff was friendly and helpful. They were on time for my sons appointment. The office was very clean and nicely decorated. My son was not frightened at all!! They were very good about making him comfortable learning all the dental cleaning tools. Excited to have this place care for my child's dental hygiene!
