Dr. Colleen is excited to have returned to the North Country! Having grown up in Peru, NY, she graduated from Seton Catholic in Plattsburgh before going on to the University of Rochester for her undergraduate education. After receiving her BA in Clinical and Social Sciences in Psychology, she went on to the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where she completed both her DDS and specialty training in pediatric dentistry.
During dental school, Dr. Colleen focused her efforts on improving education and access to dental care for those in need. Her most memorable project was the initiation of a dental education and fluoride varnish program in nine schools in an Amish community in Western New York.
Dr. Colleen married her high school sweetheart, Adam, in 2012. Life with three little ones- William, Caroline and Anna- keeps them joyfully busy! They enjoy spending time outdoors and are thrilled to be so close to the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain. Dr. Colleen is an avid cook and enjoys spending time in the kitchen as well.
Dr. Chris grew up in Plattsburgh and lived here until graduating from Plattsburgh High School and moving on to North Carolina for college. While at NC State, he cheered on the Wolfpack whenever he could and obtained degrees in biological sciences and French. His studies then took him to Boston, where he received his DMD from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and then his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Boston Childrens Hospital.
A significant portion of Dr. Chriss education at Harvard focused on dentistry as being a part of overall health, and he served in many volunteer roles incorporating oral health into primary care visits. Dr. Chris believes that a healthy mouth is an important part of a healthy lifestyle for all of his patients, and he is excited to help increase access to pediatric dental care here in the North Country.
Dr. Chris is thrilled that his journey has taken him back to Plattsburgh, which he has always considered home. He loves this area for all that the mountains and lake have to offer. You may occasionally see him out swimming, biking, running, or more likely on a walk with his wife, Lindsey, and dog, Finn. Be sure to honk and wave if you do see them!

a very hospitable dentist office, very welcoming, understanding ,patient, very clear with what's going on with yours or your child's care plan, produced results the first visit we were there. highly recommend this dentist office for children especially. they were awesome with my son even though he was all over the place they were more than understanding, helpful, they are a close good tight knit little group over there and we got to the bottom of our issues with no problems.

My daughter had a nasty abcess above one of her baby teeth. Lakeshore scheduled us immediately, as a new patient, and pulled her tooth the same day. She was extremely nervous. The staff were awesome, and made her feel super comfortable. My daughter chose to stay with Lakeshore for her future dental needs, rather than returning to North Country. Very clean, organized, and professional office!

Great work! Dr Goodell always does a good job. However, it's quite unsettling how masks still need to be worn at a dental office. The lady at the front desk (who wasn't wearing a mask when we walked In) was very quick to enforce the mask rule and check temps. Call her good at her job but I believe people like this lack control in other areas of life and get their ego stroked when they tell others what to do. Just my thoughts! Wake up people!!

From the moment I called lake shore dental in Peru, I was greeted with open arms and instantly felt welcomed. I was so impressed with how kind, gentle and professional my kids were treated. The only thing I regret is not making the change sooner, after 3 tortuous visits to their previous office of 10 years, it was delightful to see our kids leave the office with a smile on their face! Thank you, lake shore team!

I went with my one month old today and the whole staff and team are fabulous there. I went thinking my son had a lip and tongue tie and I knew I was right he did. Dr Colleen is the best

Dr. Chris. Is absolutely amazing. He gave clear instructions on my daughters treatment plan. Dr. Chris had my daughters trust from the very beginning. I highly recommend bring your littles to see him for all their dentistry needs. Organized, caring, and perfect with children and parents.

After formulating a plan with our former dentist and orthodontist to have my child's 6yr. molars removed with the plan to keep her wisdom teeth (her 6yr teeth formed very poorly) our dentist left the office we were at when she was 12. The provider who took her over did not support this plan, certainly caps/crowns/fillings/and ultimately root canals would be more lucrative over her lifetime as the poor kid struggled to maintain these teeth. Just as the pandemic began, the large filling in one of those 4 teeth fel out and she spent months with no care for this situation. We got a second opinion at Lakeshore who got her in very quickly and listened to my concerns about a lifetime of dental costs. Once restrictions lifted, the teeth were removed. Orthodontics installed and we've been at Lakeshore for both kids since then. Pleased, happy, confident with the care my kids are getting.

I was referred to Dr.Colleen by a lactation consultant for my daughters oral ties. We set up a consultation appointment and it took all of 30 seconds for Dr.Colleen to diagnose my daughters ties. We submitted to insurance and once we heard back about the approval we set up the appointment to get them revised. The revision was so quick and everyone is so nice and welcoming. Dr.Colleen was amazing and answered any and all questions I had. I will be continuing to bring my daughter here and for her check up when she is 1

My 8 year old son has a lot of problems with his teeth, we have been to a lot of dentist all over and no one compares to Dr. Colleen. She's not only very intelligent and trustworthy but she's amazing with her patients and families as well. We recently brought our youngest son to see her for his first dentist appointment and he was very nervous but Dr. Colleen and ALL of her staff handled the situation perfectly and were able to clean his teeth and he left with a smile on his face. I would recommend Dr. Colleen to any parent for their kiddos hands down.

My 6 year old daughter needed several fillings done and we could not have been any happier with the care she received by Dr. Lacombe-Senecal. The staff was very kind and helped my daughter feel comfortable during the process. My daughter loved the dentist and had a great experience despite needing multiple fillings done at once. The dentist explained everything to her and was so friendly. Dr. Lacombe-Senegal is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. Until this office opened we would have had to travel to Vermont or Glens Falls for this level of pediatric dental care as a community we are very lucky to have such a great pediatric dentist close to home. It was very easy and quick to get an appointment. The office is very clean and the equipment all new. Additionally, they are the only local office to offer "tongue tie" laser release, in the past the only option for this was to travel to one doctor in Albany and while the care was adequate in the Albany clinic it ran a bit like a factory. The care at Lakeshore is much more personable. Without any reservation I would recommend using this office for pediatric dental care.
