DR. PETER KRAKOWIAK, DMD, FRCD(C) Dr. Peter Krakowiak completed his Oral and Maxillofacial surgery residency at LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles. He also received post graduate training at University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor where he also served as a dental school faculty.
Currently Dr. Krakowiak holds the rank of a Clinical Assistant Professor and teaches in the division of Surgical Therapeutics and Bioengineering Sciences at USC School of Dentistry and at LAC+USC Level I Trauma Center. His clinical and research interest include facial regenerative, dental implant therapy and computerized surgical imaging and planning.
DR. BRADY D. NIELSEN, DDS Dr. Nielsen joins us after completing his specialty training at one of the most respected residency programs in the world today the USC Advanced Graduate Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The USC program is currently the nations most unique and comprehensive OMS training program, as it has recently been integrated not only into the Keck Medical School curriculum but also organizationally combined with the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department at Keck USC School of Medicine and Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles. Dr. Nielsen completed his studies in Dentistry at the UCLA School of Dentistry.
Our practice employs a team of highly qualified and experienced clerical and surgical staff. All of us aim to provide our patients with the highest level of personalized and compassionate care. Each and every member of the team is active in ongoing advancement of their respective clinical and professional skills. The operatory assistants are CPR and ACLS certified as well as have completed CALAOMS accredited assistant training modules. All our staff who are involved in taking and processing x-rays meet or exceed strict state certification requirements. We all partake in maintenance of exceptional asepsis and exceed all OSHA and other government sterility and infection control standards. Our very capable surgical staff has advanced trainings in all aspects of anesthesia care and full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical therapy. Dr. Michael Erickson has extensive training in the diagnosis and management of disorders of the oral and maxillofacial region. Dr. Erickson graduated from Loma Linda University earnings his D.D.S. degree. His postgraduate training includes an orthodontic residency in orthodontics and dento-facial orthepedics at Loma Linda University where he earned a Masters degree in orthodontics

Both doctors have interest in and deliver advanced care for growing patients focused on interceptive management of disturbances in facial and dental growth including dentition impactions Depending on the severity of the malocclusion (bad bite) or irregularity. orthodontic treatments may occur in several appropriately timed phases focusing on skeleton growth and dental growth disturbances.

Mario's first & 2 visits to the place were impressive. Staff was welcoming especially Tanya. Dr. Brady Nielsen who extracted the first 5 teeth out of the 15 in preparation for full dentures was light handed & handled the patient with tenderness. Kim who explained the details in the pamphlet after the extractions was thorough, humorous & even helped pushed Mario's wheelchair for safety until he got into the car safely. The post extractions follow up was exemplary. Dr. Nielsen handled the patient with tender loving care. Overall, My husband & I will recommend this office, not to mention the tidiness of the place & observe safety covid protocol. 5 for the whole office!

AVOID these people at all costs! I would give zero stars if I could. My wife went in for a procedure in 2019 and Lakeshore OMS did not file their paperwork to get paid by Delta Dental in time, so they tried to pass the bill onto us. We did not receive any letters or billing until recently, almost three years later. We only knew of the situation when we had a letter mailed to us from a collection agency that they use. When I spoke to Delta Dental, I was told they missed their deadline for billing and we are not responsible, but I am continuing to fight, since Delta Dental is also no help whatsoever. DO NOT get ripped off by these people like we did! They are rude and do not care about anything but money and overcharging their customers. Horrible!

Dr. Peter Krakowiak and staff @ Lakeshore Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery are the best! I was referred by my general dentist Dr. Hoyt to have my impacted wisdom tooth removed , which was super infected. Dr. Peter Krakowiak's staff got an appointment for me so promptly I was so impressed. He got me out of pain and I'm healing perfectly with the knowledge and help from Dr. K and Staff. I would highly recommend anyone to this marvelous office. 10 stars! My daughter had her wisdom teeth out and Dr Nielsen and the rest of the staff at Lakeshore Oral were wonderful. The procedure went well and they are very good about checking up after to make sure patient is doing well. Very professional office and staff.

The surgeon, Dr. K, did a great job with wisdom tooth removal. Pain only lasted for 5 days. Recovery went well. Staff is responsive and polite. I would recommend this office to anyone.

Dr. Krakowiak was absolutely amazing! I'm so grateful for him and his staff taking me in as a patient during the beginning of the pandemic. They were very understanding and reassuring during one of the most traumatic events of my life. I cannot put into words just how thankful I was to have him as my oral surgeon. His knowledge and explanation of everything that I had to have done was excellent.

If you're looking for a great oral surgeon who is kind, considerate and compassionate, your search is over. Dr. Peter Krakowiak and his staff have gone above and beyond our expectations. In the last 6 months, both of my kids have needed to have their wisdom teeth out. He made sure each was calm and comfortable before each procedure, followed by excellent aftercare, even after complications arose. Thank you Dr. K!

I've taken both my children here for wisdom teeth removal and they are fantastic. The staff is very professional and organized. The doctor takes time out during your consultation to answer questions or concerns. We also got a full detailed description of costs before the surgery. The day of surgery only took an hour and a half. The doctor was there again to answer any questions and gave a full explanation of procedures. After wards the nurses took the time to walk my son to the car with care and attention. They explained all medications and proper care of the wisdom teeth removal. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of oral health care.

Dr. Brady Nielsen, nurses and front staff, especially Laura had been extremely courteous, helpful, caring and clear with all expectations and follow-ups explanations. I feel their efforts made it lot less painful with my painful 60 years old wisdom teeth extraction! I will refer this team any time in the future to my family, friends, colleagues and neighbors, if there ever is a such painful process needed!

My son had a procedure done in December. We were extremely nervous about it, but those fears subsided once the procedure was thoroughly explained to us. He came through the hour long procedure with flying colors. The doctors and office staff were courteous and professional.
