Dr. Skowronski graduated from the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2009 and has been practicing comprehensive cosmetic, implant and general dentistry at his private practice in Mooresville, NC.
Dr. Jake believes that learning is a never ending process and has completedhundreds of hours on continuing education in order to stay current on all the new dentistry innovations including new techniques and technology.
In his spare time he enjoys playing guitar, bass, pianoand drums. He also enjoys camping and playing golf. An avid sports fan, he enjoys attending Carolina Panthers and Hornets games. He attends churchregularlywith his family andgives back to his community by being on the Town of Mooresville 's 'Environmental Protection Commission' and has been a Committee member since 2012. More than anything else, Dr. Jake enjoys spending time with his family.
Why is a Fellowship important? A dentist who has received their Fellowship offers his or her patients cutting-edge care. We have to complete 500 hours of continuing education in various disciplines and then pass a rigorous examination. It's not easy, but it's worth it to make sure my patients are getting the best possible care available.

I am almost 60 years old and have seen many dentists over the years. Honestly no dentist has ever taken care of me like Dr. Jake. His assistant, Kathy, and all the staff are all professional and caring. Dr. Jake has done almost all dental procedures for me, crowns, root canals, and a permanent bridge. He never has hurt me and the work is beautiful. He and Kathy are a wonderful team. If you are looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Jake 3 years later and I still think Dr. Jake is the best! Although Kathy has left the office and I will miss her so much, Jennifer took excellent care of me as the dental assistant. A crown replacement was today's task. Previously done by an endodontist, Dr. Jake gave me all my possible options and fixed me right up. Thank you to his staff!

Super attentive receptionists. Hygienist and dentist were wonderful. So glad we found a new dentist after moving from NY! The dentist is amazing! We love him! One year later - had a recent trauma to mouth - got me in and were super attentive and thorough. Love this place. Only negative is insurance billing tends to get fuddled...can be frustrating but always settles itself out. Two years in and still no problems! Super convenient and close to home. Great about fitting you in (actually use a cancellation list). Three years in - love Dr. Jake and all the dental hygienists!!! UPDATE: Had a dental emergency today - front tooth veneer cracked in half - walked right in and Dr. Jake helped immediately. Love this place!

As ALWAYS, Dr. Jake performed exceptional work. And his assistant is truly his "right" hand. Professional, caring, explaining details to the degree anyone can understand. I have to be the most "frightened" and difficult patient they've ever encountered ... however, they are pleasing and perfectly perfect and continue to welcome me (and my husband). WIse words I learned in college ... SUCCESS DOESN'T COME TO THOSE WHO DO WORK OCCASIONALLY - SUCCESS COMES TO THOSE WHO DO WORK CONSISTENTLY. Dr. Jake is consistent !!!
