Dr. Ryan Lebster is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Lebster has completed post-graduate continuing education in implant dentistry at the Misch International Implant Institute, prosthetic & esthetic dentistry, and orthodontics. He holds various leadership positions in the Michigan Dental Association and the HollandZeeland Dental Society. Having an extensive background as an engineer has proven to be an exceptional asset to Dr. Lebster in his dentistry. Whether the needs are a filling or complete full-mouth reconstruction, the skills of analysis, planning design, and execution with precision are critical.
In 2008, Dr. Lebster founded RediDental Emergency Dental Care. The new concept was to provide emergency dental services with extended early morning, evening, and weekend hours. RediDental not only serves his patients at the Lakeshore Dentistry & Implant Center but serves as an on-call service for other dentists.
Dr. Jose Vivas has taught at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry since 1998. In fact, Dr. Vivas was one of Dr. Lebsters first instructors in dental school! They have remained close over the years and having similar practice philosophies and attention to quality in dentistry they decided in 2015 to join together.
Dr. Vivas received his dental degree from Universidad Central of Venezuela in 1992. In 1997, he completed a postdoctoral scholar program in prosthodontics and restorative dentistry at the University of Michigan.
His research was focused on implant dentistry. He has completed extensive continuing education in every phase of dentistry. He not only has performed all aspects of dentistry, but he has also taught advanced education in dentistry. Dr. Vivas has had a major role in the education of every dentist who has graduated from the University of Michigan in the last 19 years!
Dr. Arnold Baker has practiced dentistry in Holland, Michigan, since 1977. Over the last 40+ years, Dr. Baker has built a reputation with his fellow dentists not only regionally, but across the state of Michigan, as a man who exudes a sense of integrity and decorum. His patients over the years have described him as a gentle giant who is vigorously artistic. He is intensely devoted to advancements in the art and science of dentistry, completing thousands of hours of continuing education courses in the areas of implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics (crowns and bridges), occlusion, and TMJ.
Having over 30 years of experience in implant dentistry and complex full-mouth reconstruction, Dr. Baker has helped countless people return their mouths to their desired form, function, esthetics, and comfort.
Throughout Dr. Bakers career, he has actively guided the course of dentistry in the state of Michigan. He has served in leadership roles as a president of the Michigan Dental Association, the West Michigan District Dental Society, and the F.B. Vedder Society for Fixed Prosthodontics. Dr. Baker is also a former assistant professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and has been a mentor to countless other dentists throughout the state. Dr. Baker is a recipient of the Michigan Dental Associations highest honor, the John G. Nolen Lifetime Achievement Award. Additionally, he has been honored with West Michigan District Dental Societys highest honor, the Distinguished Service Award.
Dr. Baker retired from the active practice of dentistry in 2011. As the founder of the Lakeshore Dentistry & Implant Center, mentor to Dr. Lebster, and caretaker of thousands of patients, Dr. Baker remains an integral part of this dental practice, even in retirement. Dr. Baker serves us as a consultant regarding dental implant parts and specific complex dental rehabilitation.

I was referred by a colleague and was more than pleasantly surprised. I had some issues with my teeth that were draining my self confidence and after fearing the worst I was positively reassured and felt supported. Best dentist experience I've ever received and I look forward to being an ongoing customer. Plus they have nice bathrooms so like, that's a plus.

Lakeshore Dentistry has been taking care of my teeth for 32 years. I keep coming here because they are the best of the best. They are wonderful, caring people, and highly skilled with the newest techniques and equipment. I have had beautiful dental work done, and it has lasted decades with no problems. My wife and I recently found this practice after being with another dentist in Holland. What a breath of fresh air! You walk in the door and get a sense of the professionalism and quality of this team. Someone immediately greets you, there is no lengthy wait to get in, and every team member is warm and welcoming. Dr Lebster is relationally warm and highly skilled. They pay attention to every detail. We've had both crowns and routine cleanings and the level of care is consistently high whatever the procedure. We highly recommend Lakeshore Dentistry.

I had my first cleaning with Ashley. I too sit in our chairs to experience what our patients experience. Ashley was gentle, thorough and I felt so comfortable I actually fell asleep! Ashley is a wonderful addition to our team, we and our patients are fortunate to have her.
