As a Michigan native, Dr. Kella attended University of Michigan (Go Blue!) with the initial intent to study business. He completed his bachelor's degree in brain, behavior, and cognitive sciences and went on to receive a master's degree in biological sciences from the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey. After discovering how much he enjoyed helping people, he decided to shift his focus to a career that would allow him to make a positive impact on peoples lives. Dr. Kella proceeded to attend the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
After dental school, Dr. Kella completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. During his residency, Dr. Kella fell in love with the city of Chicago and decided to make it his home. Hes excited to build his family and his practice in such a wonderful place. Dedicated to continuing to improve his practice, Dr. Kella attends continuing education courses and stays up-to-date on cutting edge techniques and tools. He has recently completed his Masters in Implantology through the California Implant Institute.

My 2 year old had his first visit to the dentist today and the whole staff was so warm and welcoming! We were both nervous for it but it went so well, and it's clear the dentist and assistants have experience caring for young patients. Thank you!

Easy from start to finish. Appreciate that all forms could be completed online prior to treatment. Nancy and Dr. Hogan were so incredibly thorough especially when covering the review of my dental health. Keep those teeth brushed kids.

I've always gotten apprehensive whenever I had to go to the dentist after having some bad experiences before. But this office! This office was the best experience I've ever had! It started out when I came in too early, the whole staff was sitting around celebrating something (sorry to interrupt!). But it was great to see all the beautiful smiling faces and their togetherness. They were very caring. The dental assistant explained everything before getting down to business. I really appreciate how calm the Dr. Hagen and the staff made me feel. And of course, my oral surgery was successfully done. I'm going to bring my family here. We've found our dentist!

What I thought would be just a cleaning turned into getting cavities filled for the first time. Thankfully, Dr. Kella, Mouhcine, and New Girl (playing on Netflix) were all comforting throughout the process. So glad to have been recommended to this office!

The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and accommodating! I was genuinely impressed with the thoroughness of the exam, and appreciated the detailed explanations of observations and procedures. I very much appreciated the hot towel at the end of the exam! I didn't hesitate to sign up for additional suggested procedures (filling replacement).
