Dr. Mike joined Dr. T.K. Scheer in 1990 and together started Lakeshore Dental in 1991. He is a graduate of Roncalli High School in Manitowoc, and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1988.

The integrity of a profession that is so involved in prevention means everything to me. Practicing in the dental field with Lakeshore Dental all these years has allowed me to meet and build relationships with so many truly wonderful people, many of whom I consider friends. All the people, from my patients to our team, make coming to work every day amazing.

Dr. Mike enjoys hunting, fishing and adventures with his family. Dr. Mike and his wife, Deanna, have two children, Erin and Ben. Their family includes a niece and great-niece, Haley and Reese along with a house full of pets. Together they like to fish for muskies, plan and plant food plots for wildlife and pollinator gardens for the bees.

Dr. Lauren Preston was born and raised in Valders, Wisconsin graduating from Valders High School. She received her bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Preston then went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2021. After graduating dental school, she wanted to come back to the area to be able to serve her community.

Dr. Prestons goal is to be able to develop long lasting relationships with all of her patients and provide them with exceptional dental care. When Dr. Preston is not practicing dentistry, she is usually hunting or fishing with her fianc Jake, or hiking with their black lab puppy, Kenai

Our hygiene teams focus is on ensuring the long-term oral health of our patients. Specifically, each of our hygienists is adept at assessing patients oral health conditions, performing oral cancer screenings as well as head and neck inspections, treating periodontal disease, and administering local anesthetics.

Our dental hygienists make it a priority to stay up-to-date on the latest technology and treatment techniques and providing patients with guidance on oral health care, prevention and nutrition. Each member of our hygiene team prides herself on getting to know her patients and providing dental care on an individual basis.

With us since 1999, Amy has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1989. Her interests include gardening, fishing and stained glass projects. Most importantly, however, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Julie joined Lakeshore Dental in October of 2001. She previously worked with a pediatric and general dentist in Green Bay.Her joy for hygiene stems from her desire to help, inform, and educate her patients on oral health and care.When not at Lakeshore Dental, Julie is busy in her garden and helping her husband and their two teenage sons on their beef farm.

Gail joined Lakeshore Dental as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2006. She has been in the profession providing patient care for over 40 years. Gails hobbies include being outdoors, walking, gardening and most importantly spending time with her family.

After 34 years at Lakeshore Dental, I remain passionate about dentistry and helping multigenerational families maintain their healthy smiles. I enjoy getting to know patients, discussing treatment recommendations and answering questions related to oral health.

The Dental Assistants at Lakeshore Dental offer comprehensive dental care and superior customer service to each and every patient. Their goal is to make every patient feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visit.

For over ten years, Denise has been a part of Lakeshore Team as a Dental Assistant. You will regularly see Denise assisting Dr. Mike. She joined the team as a Dental Assistant in 2002. Denise loves gardening, just being outside and spending time with family!

Tracie joined Lakeshore Dental in 2002, bringing with her previous experience as a Dental Assistant. Tracie is a Dental Assistant to Dr. Mike. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to sports activities, gardening and walking.

Julie joined Lakeshore Dental in March 2020. She earned her dental assistant certificate from Lakeshore Technical College and has been a dental assistant for the last 20 years. Julie has 4 children and loves to spend time with them at all of their sporting events and activities. In her spare time she likes to travel, garden, and of course, shop!

Sheila joined Lakeshore Dental in 2018 as a business assistant and has brought many years of front desk experience. Providing exceptional customer service has always been important to her. Sheila and her husband, Joe have three beautiful children and in her spare time she enjoys volleyball, walking, bow hunting and most important, spending time with her family and pets!
