This guy is the best. I wouldn't go anywhere else. He's been taking care of my family for many years and we've always been pleased with his dentistry. A full 5 star dentist.

The staff is friendly and the work itself is great. It's the cost that is my problem. My husband and I spent all of our savings on my teeth after pregnancy messed them up. Nine months later and I'm getting yet another bill. Just expect to pay a lot before going here.

I had my first visit at Lakeshore Cosmetic Dentistry today and could not have been more pleased ! I had a toothache and was in terrible pain. I also have tons of anxiety so I was super nervous already . From the second I walked in, the staff made sure my experience was very calm, but inviting. Every single person, at some point or another , made a conscious effort to speak to me ! Linda ( whom I loved ) introduced me to everyone and gave me a quick tour of their state of the art facility! Dr. Ameri was very personable, super knowledgeable, and probably has the best bedside manner ever ! He took care of my issue with no problems ! Thank you Ludi for referring me ! You were right, Dr. Ameri is quite the perfectionist !!

Unfortunately I had probably one of the worst experiences one could possibly have here. I originally came in for just a cleaning, my teeth did not bother me I was perfectly happy with my smile but just needed them cleaned. Now when you first sign up with them they make you fill out a form. One of the questions asks if you are happy with you smile? and if your teeth bother you? However it does not matter what you answer because Dr. Ameri will still point out what is "wrong" with you teeth as it happened in my experience. Well after the cleaning they make you see Dr. Ameri, where he goes over you teeth and basically gives you his recommendations. During this he recommended that I get two fillings redone, and to have my front tooth fixed because it was chipped. Again I had no problems with my teeth and was happy but I went ahead and trusted him. Well during him redoing my fillings the piece on his tool fell off and struck the inside of my lip. I felt it immediately as it happened because the tool was hot and had the piece sitting on my tongue which he took out of my mouth, wiped the inside of my lip and placed it back together. He did not acknowledge this at first, and moved forward with the fillings. He walked away to see another patient as we waited for the filling to harden. During this point I tasted blood and I asked his assistant to pass me a tissue and I asked if it was bad. She replied no, and passed me a mirror so I could see my lip. Now I understand accidents happen. The issue was that when he came back he saw the bleeding and responded I shouldn't bite my lip. Implying I busted my lip by biting it, and ultimately not taking any responsibility for what had actually happened. A simple apology honestly would have sufficed. Well fast forward he did some bonding on my front tooth because it was "chipped" on the edge. I have natural curves in my teeth, which he called chipped. However the first bonding was done horribly, he left a lot of resin on the front my tooth and made it look like I had butter on it. I went back and had it removed, the second time he made the tooth look huge and unnatural to my teeth, it looked like a giant chiclet. Ultimately I told him to remove it because I was so unhappy with the work he was doing. Well when he removed it the third time I realized he shaved my tooth down so now it look crooked or at an angle instead of straight like before. I got upset and showed him photos of how my tooth looked before because you could see that there was now a huge visible difference. Which he replied my tooth always looked like that and he had not shaved it down. He then tried to just recreate my tooth as how it was from the start to fix it. Which what he failed to explain is this is only a temporary solution and the piece he added on to make it look like it did originally did chipped off a month later. Now I'm stuck with a visibly angled looking tooth and it now makes my tooth look crooked because of it. These issues were only the beginning, well both fillings he did were giving me severe issues. I was experiencing pain when eating any and all types of food, and then extreme pain when exposed to room temperature water. He gave me medications and redid them with some medication on the inside to stop it. The issues continued and after he felt he did everything he could, he told me I had no other choice but to do a root canal. He happily had his assistant hand me an extremely large quote for the root canals. Imagine going from no issues at all to suddenly having to do two root canals on the fillings he did. After this experience I realized, he unfortunately does not have his patients best interest at heart. He does not take responsibility for any damage he causes. His biggest concern is where he can make money from you. I truly hope that no one ever has to experience the same damage he did to me. It's been well over a year since this all happened, and I unfortunately live with the consequences of his work everyday. Now every time I see my smile it's a constant reminder of the irreparable damage done to me.

Oh my god, where to even start? Dr Ameri and his entire staff are absolutely amazing. I've been struggling with black triangles ever since I did Invisalign and had no idea what to do to fix them. I put my Sherlock Holmes hat on and found a procedure called "Bioclear" to treat them: a non invasive, fast and durable option. I then decided to fly to Houston from Mexico City (no doctor has a bioclear certification over there) and pay a visit to Dr Ameri. From the very start the entire team was incredibly welcoming and professional, the absolute best. I am ecstatic about the results.
