Separate efforts in Manitowoc County and Sheboygan County to increase access to primary health and dental care for underserved residents joined to form Lakeshore Community Health Care in 2014. Today, residents of both counties can access primary and preventive medical, behavioral and oral health care at two convenient locations in Sheboygan and Manitowoc.
United Way of Manitowoc County provided a venture grant to expand Healthy Teeth Healthy Community dental services to adults. A new non-profit, Healthy Teeth Healthy Communities of Manitowoc County Inc. (HTHCMC), was created to support the expanded services.
In order to make the best use of federal and local grant opportunities, the Manitowoc and Sheboygan organizations merged. Lakeshore Community Health Care, Inc. became the newly combined non-profit's official name.
Both LCHC clinics received Patient Centered Medical Home designation and quality awards for our vaccination efforts and Health Information Technology from the Health Resources and Services Administration.

This is hands down the absolute worst place to get any dental work done. They treat you and act as if you are not even there like they are working on a mannequin or something. Just simply have no regard to any pain or discomfort you may be feeling while they are working on drilling a tooth the dentist is quite good at gaslighting and does it with such ease that it leads me to believe she is just that incompetent as a dentist and would rather blame a patient rather than their ineptitude.

Sent my account to collections over $10, despite my having called multiple times to pay the bill. Billing never returned any messages. And that is only the latest in a litany of issues I have had ranging from lost records to aggressively dismissive care. This place sucks. Do not go here.

Was charged for services that were not provided for my daughter and I. Refused to pay the bill so they sent it to collections. After sitting in collections for 5 years I got paperwork in the mail that they were suing me.

Nothing has been done and everything been excuses, always pushing the appointment months later. Wasting our time to show up. Our insurance paying and you ain't even done nothing. Refer us to somewhere else then they do same thing. Horrible place and horrible customer service.

Horrible business. Double billed my family, charged us for dental work they never did, and now are taking us to collections. Avoid this scam company if you can! Edit to add now being taken to small claims court for double billing and services never provided

One of the WORST DENTISTRIES IN TOWN. THEY LACK PROFESSIONALISM. THEY PROLONG APPOINTMENTS SO BY THE NEXT TIME YOUR THERE YOU HAVE MORE PROBLEMS. THEY WILL HACK ON YOUR TEETH AND THEN STOP AND SAY THEY NEED TO TALK TO INSURANCE LEAVING YOU IN PAIN. THEY DO NOT CARE.

I have never left a review until today. This is the worst place I've ever been to. After giving faulty results they had the audacity to charge me for the visit 4 years later by sending it to collections instead of contacting me first. When I tried to resolve, they had nothing but excuses and policy nonsense to give me. I was traumatized from going there initially and charging me again has only brought back the scary memories I was forced to endure. Even with proof of their misconduct, I'm still obliged to pay otherwise it can ruin my credit. I couldn't imagine wishing this experience on anyone. Help yourself and go somewhere, anywhere else for services.

Canceled my appointment because I didn't call to confirm appointment and didn't even bother to tell me with in 24 hr. Never called to confirm before and was fine. Recently had a cleaning that took probley less than 10 minutes and chipped the back of my teeth and feel slight pain still a few weeks later. Will probably never come back.

Very grumpy staff, me my wife and kids went for a dentist appointment and were greeted by a very grumpy greeter. Asked for the guest password for my daughter to watch the tablet while waiting and was told only patients get the password, when i explained we were guests and want to use the guest wifi she lied and now said only doctors use the guest wifi!? Wow

I have had to cancel last minute for a relevant reason and ever since that day they won't let me make an appointment. I have braces on my teeth and I have to have them cleaned. My blood pressure goes through the roof 180/120 when i go there. I had my childs first dental appointment was not anything soeavial they counted the teeth, rubbed them with some form of paste and gave her a tooth brush. I wish there was a better place! I went to family dental on Washington and he skipped my teeth leaving them with plaque buildup. They are rude and controlling. They don't let people make their own appointment they make it for them

I've had multiple cavities filled from this place, and experienced a few fillings fall out shortly after getting them done. Fillings have fallen out and my teeth became infected. I had to go back on more than one occasion to have cavities refilled. On top of that the staff there are very unprofessional. This is an honest review and I do not recommend this place.

I just got off the phone with someone who is supposed to help me with my referral to a different dentistry, and she was so ridiculously rude and condescending. We are in the middle of a pandemic this hasn't been easy on anybody, but it's absolutely no reason to judge someone or talk down to them because of their circumstances. You don't know if people are going through and it's none of your business I guess or judge. If you don't wanna help people, I suggest maybe looking into a different field of work because this clearly isn't for you. I did my best to maintain my composure and remain emotionless with my responses but she didn't make it easy. I will be filing a complaint with the human resource department because of how bad it was. Please do better it's not hard to be kind

There dental clinic in Sheboygan needs better work. I went to the for tooth pain and at first was told I needed teeth pulled had a appointment set. Then was given a different dentist who said that a oral surgeon had to extract. Pain became worse went back to lakeshore for emergency extraction seeing I can't get in to oral surgeon till march 2022 and was told nothing they can do. Thanks lakeshore for putting me at risk of a tooth abscess and making me suffer in pain
