Digital X-rays: This is a focused beam of X-Ray particles through bone which produces an image on special film, showing the structure through which it passed. This gives the familiar black and white images that doctors and dentists use to diagnose problems. X-rays are a necessary part of the diagnostic process, and not to use them could lead to undiagnosed disease. Without an X-ray of the whole tooth, and supporting bone and gum tissues, there is no real way to detect infection or pathology that requires attention. In our office we use digital radiography which allows us to take X-rays using 50-70% less radiation versus conventional X-rays. Coupled with computer monitoring, digital x-ray technology allows us to enhance the images for better diagnosis of any dental concerns.

lakes family dentistry is the best from top to bottom everyone was totally professional friendly and caring from my dentist to the assistants Rachel and Sheila to the receptionist who helped me with financing by getting all the help I needed from Medicare what a wonderful team I highly recommend the whole team great job guys thank you so much !!!

Being a first time caller to this office, how absolutely shocking it was to be talked to in such a completely rude, mean, condescending manner. For no 'apparent' reason, Rachel made the conversation intolerable. Many of us may be experiencing a painful issue and therefore need a kind caring person to answer the phone. Making matters worse, she knows I was referred by a patient who is family. I'm hoping for no reply to this due to the fact that I do not have a mountain of available time to write anything further regarding Lakes Family Dentistry.

We love this office! The office is clean, staff is friendly and very accommodating! Dr. Assar is kind and gentle which is especially appreciated with my youngest who has sensory issues. It is a great to know he can have his teeth taken care of and not panic as he has in the past.

The receptionist is rude. She asked if I was vaccinated for no reason. She has an unfriendly personality and is not doing this office a great service. They also are all about up selling you. Very uncomfortable situation. Stay clear of this office. The hygienist was friendly enough but I'm afraid the up selling may not be her idea.

I couldn't be happier with my choice to use this dental office. Both reception and dental staff are friendly, remember more personal details than just what the chart says, and are incredibly good at what they do. A lot of medical offices like to throw the term "family" around, but this one actually feels like it. 10/10

Family Lakes Dentistry is awesome. Everyone that works there from the receptionist (Rita) to the Dentists(Dr Amin) are extremely professional and are only worried about your experience. I would give them a 6 Stars rating if I could.

The worst dentist office I have ever been to. The women scream at each other, and they even talk rude to the dr. The dr wanted to fix my tooth. I didnt have $800. Then a root canal after that. Almost 2 grand for one tooth..NOT.. I wanted it pulled. He wouldnt do it..Will never set foot in there again...This place is a joke

I have been a patient here for 14 years! Great dental care! This husband and wife team treat you like family! The staff is courteous and professional! Rita will accommodate you with appointments and billing. They have a state of the art facility combined with experience and knowledgeable treatments. Dr. Amin knows his stuff! Dr. Assar is a perfect compliment to him. Together they are quite a team I have had crowns that have lasted long time with their help. The office is clean and cheerful! Do not hesitate to send your family here!
