Dr. Sireesha Penumetcha has been practicing general dentistry in California since 2002 & opened her own practice in Elk Grove in October 2006. She has been passionate about delivering the highest quality compassionate dental care to her patients and has been actively pursuing continuing education at every opportunity.
She was awarded FAGD (Fellowship in Academy of General Dentistry) in 2009, after completing 500 hours of Continuing Education (CE) and an intensive written exam. She was awarded MAGD (Mastership in Academy of General Dentistry), the highest honor in General dentistry through the Academy Of General Dentistry in 2012, after completing 1100 hours of CE (of which 400 hrs are hands-on training) in all fields of dentistry. There are more than 169,000 general dentists in the United States and Canada and less than 2% of those are Masters with the AGD. She is one of only three recipients from California in the year 2012. She also received Fellowship in International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Dr.Sireesha has trained with some of the worlds most prominent dental specialists. She has trained extensively in pediatric behavior management and oral conscious sedation through UCLA and POHAP. She is also a graduate of the comprehensive advanced Dental implant education program at Loma Linda University. She is also a graduate of both the surgical and prosthetic programs at Misch International Implant Institute. She has traveled extensively to pursue her goals in attaining the best education and does around 300 Continuing Education hrs per year (the required CE for license renewal is 25 CE per year).
She is very active in the dental community and was President of Sacramento Sierra Academy of General Dentistry (SSAGD) in 2009. She also represented Sacramento AGD in 2009 as a Delegate to National AGD. After her Presidency at the local Sacramento component, she was invited to be on the Board of California AGD where she served as the Secretary for three years. She has been representing CAGD as a Delegate in the national meetings of AGD since 4 years.Dr.Sireesha was also chosen to represent California General dentists at a conference in Washington D.C. in 2013, A Great Dentist goes to Washington. After serving as Vice-President and then President-Elect, she is now the President of California Academy of General Dentistry (CAGD). She is also an active member of Sacramento District Dental Society and serves on Forensic and Geriatric committees.
Dr. Sireesha enjoys spending quality time with her family at every opportunity. Her commitment to her family and her patients is her passion. She treats her office team and her patients as family, as in her words, This is my family. Her patients all love her! She lives in Elk Grove with her husband and four adorable kids. She also loves her Shih Tzu Honey.

Love the staff they make you feel so welcoming. The office is amazing the doctors are great. I am so scare of the dentist however the Dr made me feel safe and I had no pain. Love the office

I was a bit disappointed to learn the assistant staff ( with short blonde hair) did not introduce herself or seem friendly to see me at all.I know she's new and it's perfectly fine. However, I feel she could be more friendlier. The associate dentist is okay but I feel she could be more caring. Several sensitive nerves were touched during the cleaning and my body reacts accordingly. That should have been mentioned (like, are you okay, maybe?). None. Overall, not a good experience for me .

I was refered by a very close friend of my family that I trusted. When I had my appointment for cleaning it was the worse experience I ever had. The dental hygienist was very professional, the dentist her self was very very rude and unprossional, she told the hygienist yo stop and go to lunch, rushed me out the chair I had to figure out how to turn the water on to raise my month. She told me I had to go, I was told one amount when i got there and another, which was more when I got ready to leave. Worse experience ever

As a patient of Dr. Shireesha for years, I've had nothing but great experiences- or least the best you can expect going to the dentist. Dr. Shireesha is thorough, pays the upmost attention to your comfort, and has a consistently positive and upbeat attitude. To make things better, she added Dr. Lomen, who is equally fantastic in all areas. She a great addition to an already great practice. As far as the financial end, while some people have their own issues and stories, I can tell you they work very well with my insurance, and I have rarely had to pay anything out of pocket and it's minimal ($21 the last I can remember). They find a way to make it work while providing excellent service, comfort, and a smile to be proud of.

Today I got 3 cavities done and by far the best experience I ever had dealing with cavities. Dr. Sireesha is the best ever, the way she takes care of my teeth and explains what she is exactly going to do makes me very comfortable. She is always looking out for the best for your teeth. Also, I want to give a big shoutout to Daisy which she is amazing! Daisy does her job perfectly and explains everything so well. Thank you Dr. Sireesha and Daisy. I really appreciate all you guys do.

I do not recommend this clinic at all find yourself where you will get treated for your dental need. I had such a awful experience at this location and went through such a bad trauma. physically & emotionally and it effected my mental health still try to feel like the person I was before. I took my self to the state where I didn't want to live anymore because of the oral surgery I had to went through after trusting this clinic. Please save your self and find some another doctor who treat you for your better not for insurance money.

Update... the worst experience a person could ever have. A complete waste of time if you're not paying top dollar. Dr. Shireesha only cares about her recommendations ($$$) and not the customer experience. To read about the full horrible experience(s), check out my Yelp review. Don't be fooled or persuaded by her kind words or passion for her craft. It's a pseudo attempt to under mind your needs and verbally overpower you with useless information for HOURS. As a customer service manager, this was the epitome of bad experiences. Hopefully, LakePoint dental learns from this experience.

I have a phobia.. just one.. the dentist. I have neglected my teeth for far too long. Lucky for me I found Dr Sireesha. I have never had such gentle treatment. I had to have a tooth pulled because I was in so much pain, I couldn't think straight. I was so terrified (thanks to stupid dentists from the past). I called Jason in the front office, and what does he say, "Come right in at noon and we'll take care of you!" Then he says he's sorry it can't be sooner! Um.. WHAT?? He was worried about me! Are you ready for my review.... I FELT NOTHING!! I mean there was some pressure, but so what?? It was PAINLESS!! I live about an hour away from the office and I will happily travel to my wonderful Dr Sireesha and her fantastic team. I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have found her.

Dr. Sireesha is knowledgeable, caring, and pain free - she took pictures of what she was doing and showed me what was going on through the entire appointment. In addition, the office space is modern, beautiful, and well equipped. I received a cleaning here as well from Erin in the past! She has gentle hands but always makes sure she does a thorough job by double checking to make sure she got everything. I go to school in Los Angeles but choose to wait until I'm back home here to have my work done at Lakepoint.

She has excellent bedside manner and makes sure to explain your treatment plan clearly and thoroughly. She has exceptionally gentle hands and makes sure the patient is comfortable at each step of the procedure. Her staff are also professional and personable. It's always a pleasure to be in her office.

ALL of the staff here are fabulous! I have SEVERE anxiety about the dentist before I started coming here due to prior dentists. This dentist and her staff have melted my anxiety away! They listen & respond to my concerns. I was SO sad when I moved, but I am overjoyed to be back and look forward to seeing y'all again!

Tired of the constant upselling and trying to redo fillings that do not need to be redone. Been with her office for many years will be leaving to find a new dentist...shame since she is nice.
