I grew up in the Tampa Bay Area. My entire family still lives here in Florida. My brother in St. Pete, my sister in Dunedin, and my parents and grandmother in Palm Harbor. My wife and I live in Thornton Park, right next to her family including a brother, sister, and her parents. We enjoy being so close to our family that has been so instrumental to our success. Our holidays are always filled with love and fond memories.
I went to college at the University of Central Florida, where I received a B.A. in anthropology while taking the pre-medical courses required for dental school. I then traveled to Boston for my dental education at Tufts University. Those four years were my best memories and also my most challenging period of growth. After dental school, I completed a residency at the Veterans Administration in Pennsylvania where I received training in advanced dental procedures.
I am also an Air Force National Guard dentist. Once a month on Saturday and Sunday I head to Jacksonville to perform my duties for the state of Florida. I was inspired to commission due to a long family history of military service and my own experiences as a doctor at the Veterans Administration.
In addition to my private practice and duties as a Captain of the Air Force National Guard, I routinely volunteer for those in need. I use my clinical skills to help remove teeth that pose a serious risk of infection or are causing acute pain in volunteer settings such as the Florida Mission of Mercy.
In my free time I enjoy swing dancing with my wife, which is how we met. We are both involved in the local dance community. Helping it grow and hosting workshops that bring well-renowned instructors to the Orlando dance community.
I believe in offering personal care in a one-on-one setting where Im never rushing. The quality of my care is of the utmost importance. I am very careful about the materials I use and the team of specialists we choose to work with. You will often hear me say that I treat all my patients the same way I would treat my mother, brother, sister, or wife. I hope that you are able to see the sincerity in these words the next time you visit.
A UCF graduate with a masters in business administration, Katie keeps the dental practice running smoothly. She loves her family, especially husband Robby and daughter Kyla. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, reading, and swing dancing.
Our trusted dental assistant. She loves to spend time with her husband Dale. She is so dedicated to dentistry that she named a cat Floss. She relocated to Florida in 2001 from England! In her spare time, she teaches yoga, including at SoFlo Hot Yoga in Lake Mary.
A true professional well loved by her patients for meticulous care, Debbie spends much of her spare time in the garden or searching for antiques. She is dedicated to her local church community. Her true love is spending time with her grandchildren.

Dr. John is an outstanding Dentist, and his staff is amazing! His skill level is off the charts, and the quality of the work is excellent. His staff is highly trained and professional, and Dr. Constantine and the staff communicate well, make you feel comfortable, and they even add a little humor. This will always be my Dental practice!

I highly recommend Lakemont Dental. Dr. Constantine and his staff are wonderful. I am usually very nervous about going to the dentist, however, Dr. Constantine and staff made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I have had a couple of procedures done with Dr Constantine and am very happy to have found Lakemont Dental.

I usually have a simple dental visit, but this time the dentist found a chipped filling from decades ago. Ergo, out goes the old filling, replaced in a quick, painless 45 minutes. Dr C and his assistant kept up a cheerful chat during the procedure. This is the best ever dental procedure I've ever had. Seriously.

I was looking for a place similar to what I was used to back home. I saw the office on my way to work and thought, "Yeah, that's the place I'm looking for". The woman that answered the phone was super friendly and helpful when I had questions anout my coverage. My first appointment was yesterday. It was a great experience all around.

I've a very nice experience with Lakemont Dental team. They are hi level experience and professional staff with tons of patience, experience and the most advanced technology in dental equipment. They make you feel confident and sure. If you need a dentist, Dr John Constantine is best hands you can be treated. The rest of staff is a complement of the idea of a good dental service. I hate going to the Dentist, sitting in that chair is terrifying!! The Team at Lakemont actually made me over come my fears, they laugh at my jokes (my jokes aren't all that funny either) and do all they can to provide a comfortable experience. I'm also a self pay patient and their prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this office, 5 stars are not enough to express their service!!

Most people hate the dentist but I literally look forward to coming to Lakemont Dental. They are so transparent and walk you through the process of each procedures. Dr. Constantine is amazing as well as, Vernia, and literally everyone is so nice and friendly. I will definitely be a patient of theirs as long as I can. Thank you so much for making a dreaded experience, wonderful .

I love this office! Everyone was super sweet from Lorraine at the front desk, to the assistant Vernia, and Debbie the hygentist. Dr. Constantine was very gentle and informative. The office is very clean and they have all state of the art fancy equipment. I'm glad I found them! -Kelly Bradford

The hygienist who worked with me was totally FAB!! Not only was she superbly competent in what she performed on my teeth, but she excelled in the conversation/explanation category. I had several questions concerned billing and treatment that she covered in a brilliant manner. I left informed and cerebrally satisfied. I've never left the office so we'll informed and with an elevated comprehension level. Seriously, give the woman a raise. I was thoroughly impressed.

I haven't been to the dentist for 2 years until today. Lakemont Dental was highly recommended by a relative. Still.. I was not looking forward to my visit. Dentist. Covid-19 protocol is followed, check-in from their parking lot. Staff was very friendly, went straight to work. I have experienced many dental cleanings, this has to be the most comfortable one I have ever experienced. I was able to go and eat lunch afterwards! No pain! Go there, maintain your teeth and be as happy as

I am 33 years old and have never had an issue with my teeth. I hadn't chewed on the right side of my mouth for over 6 months due to the pain of what apparently was a cracked tooth. I haven't been to the dentist in years so I was nervous of the unknown. The entire staff was so helpful they calmed my nerves from when I walked in. Dr. Constantine thoroughly explained my options which helped me make an informed decision. 1 hour later I left with one less tooth, and whole lot of hope. Thank you very much to the staff of Lakemont Dental. I will forever be thankful.

I had not been to a dentist for a few years (I have excuses, but none good!). I was a patient here under the previous owner and loved it here. When he retired, I was worried the family feel would be gone. I was so happy to several of the staff members were the same. That is always a good sign. Though it had been several years, they did not make me feel guilty about it and took care of me as if no time had passed. I am happy to remain a patient here and am looking forward to getting back into the regular dental health routine.

5 Stars for Lakemont Dental - Have had 2 office visits so far with Lakemont Dental and I must say, Dr Constantine and all his staff (Ariel, Lorraine, Sara, Vernia) surpassed my expectations! Very attentive, they listen to your concerns, treat you like family, and you actually get a live person on the phone when you call. Can't believe I'm saying this but I actually look forward to my next visit. :)
