Dr. Cyra graduated in the top 10% of his class from Marquette University School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1978. As a child, Dr Cyra spent many summers with his family in the Lakeland area and developed a love for the natural beauty and outdoor recreation possibilities of the northwoods. He established Lakeland Dental Care in 1980.
In 2015 Dr. Cyra obtained the prestigious title of Master in the College of Sedation Dentistry, recognized by the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Cyra provides safe and effective IV sedation for those who would otherwise be unable to have dental treatment and for those who wish to have the most comfortable pleasant dental experience.
In 2016 Dr. Cyra became an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. This required demonstrating his knowledge and skill obtained in 25 years of study and experience in implant dentistry to members of the academy through a written exam, case presentations, and an oral exam.
He has had sedation assistant training by the American Dental Society for Anesthesia and he is currently working towards D.A.A.N.C.E certification (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Exam) through the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
With Jason on our team we are able to offer same-day denture repairs done in our office. Jason is skilled in the laboratory where he makes our temporary dentures and does precision model work to ensure perfect fitting crowns. Jason is particularly known for his gentle touch and skill at making temporary crowns. In his spare time Jason enjoys hunting, hiking, a good round of golf and spending time with family and friends.

Pati has 37 years of experience in the dental field working as a receptionist and chairside assistant. She has been working at Lakeland Dental Care since the year 2000. Pati is an expert in dealing with dental insurance. Her knowledge and experience helps our patients optimize insurance benefits and schedule efficiently. She always there to answer questions and help patients understand treatment options.
'It is a joy and a pleasure to live and work in Minocqua. I have been in the dental profession since 1974. I am married to Dr. Cyra and feel honored and blessed to be able to assist him and our valuable staff in providing excellent dental care to our patients.
I love all things musical. When I 'm not at our office I spend countless hours rehearsing and performing with 'Trillium', a local group comprised of three vocalists, a baritone horn player, pianist and guitarist.

Dr. Cyra and his staff are excellent. Caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Cyra fixed a problem caused by a previous dentist. I am able to smile and eat again. Thank you so much.

Not only is the staff professional and always available for consultations, but they are some of the best people I know. I have been with Lakeland Dental for many years and cannot say enough about them. Everything is done to my satisfaction and I would never go anywhere else.

Absolutely the most kind and compassionate Dentist I have ever had! Dr. Cyra and his staff go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable. As an adult with dental anxiety and needing an extraction, you can imagine my hesitation. From the first phone call with Patti, I knew where to go. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of my questions with great repor! Patti understood and empathized with my concerns and assured me that I would be just fine. I decided to use their IV sedation services and honestly it was an amazing experience! Dr. Cyra, Patti and additional staff to assist were dead on, I didn't have any pain or much memory of the entire ordeal! If your looking for an excellent Dentist and staff, please consider them!

Dr. Cyra is the rock star of dentistry. He has done the following things for me: filled cavities, capped molars, replaced two broken incisors with some nifty bridge work, and created a night guard to protect my teeth from TMJ grinding. He is a perfectionist and does careful, thorough work. He doesn't settle for inferior products when he sends out work, and will hound the outside source until they get it right. For example, when my mouth guard came back after he had sent my impressions to a prosthesis-maker, he sent it right back and told them to do it again. The second time it came back, it fit like a dream. I've had night guards made by other dentists during my long life and this is the best one I've ever had. Dr. Cyra is up front about the costs of services and will explain less expensive alternatives to you. I have found that if I ask him, "What would you do if you were me?" I am always happy with what he suggests, and I feel it is well worth the money. -- Anne McComas

While visiting the area I broke off a tooth. I chose them since they were able to see me the same day. They were wonderful. Dr Cyra took his time and explained what could be done without me returning home. He rearranged the schedule so he could complete the work I needed in just a few days. His assistant, Patty, was great too - she took time and explained all the details to me. This dentist was the best chose I could have made...

I have been going to Dr. Cyra for 13 years now. I have had other dentist in the past that do good dental work. Non of them were as meticulous as Greg Cyra. His staff is also hightest quality.

Best investment I ever made! I went from hiding my smile to smiling all the time. I get so many compliments. My transformation took a little more than a year and throughout that time I received the best care from Dr. Cyra and his staff. They made sure I was always comfortable and happy. For someone who has been afraid of dentists all of my life, I can honestly say I never feared or dreaded my upcoming appointments. This was the best team ever! I would highly recommend their office for any dental work you need. Dr. Cyra it's a perfectionist and it shows in my smile. I even had another dentist comment what a great job Dr. Cyra did.
