Dr. Bellingham grew up in Pearland, Texas, a suburb outside of Houston. She completed her undergraduate studies at St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduated summa cum laude. She went on to dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where she served as Class President and graduated with Research Honors. She then completed an additional year of Advanced Training in General Dentistry (AEGD) as a Resident of the VA Hospital in Temple, Texas. Having loved her time during her residency in the VA setting, she accepted a full time staff dentist position at the Veterans Health Administration of North Texas in Dallas and served our nations Veterans, overseeing their dental care for 10 years. During that time she also served in a teaching role, as an attending to the General Practice Residents (GPR) at the Dallas VA.
While she loved her position at the VA for so many years, she had the desire to work closer to home since her son was approaching school age. This was her motivation in purchasing her own office and becoming a part of the Little Elm community in 2018. Dr Bellingham is currently a member of the ADA, TDA, Dallas County Dental Society, AGD, Seattle Study Club, and the DFW Study Club. She loves being a lifelong learner and advancing her skills and knowledge by staying up to date with the latest in dental advancements.
Dr. Bellingham lives in Highland Village and has one son Henry who is a great source of her entertainment. She enjoys a range of activities in and around the lake such as being a CG camper going on 4 years, stand up paddle boarding (SUP), swimming, and hiking.
