Dr. Neil Daftary is a 1994 graduate of Tufts University. He was on the clinical faculty of the dental school until 1999 when he moved to Maryland. He is Invisalign certified and a current member of the American Dental Association and Maryland State Dental Association.

Dr. Robert Zaner is a 1983 graduate of the University of Maryland. He also completed a post-graduate clinical training at Baltimore City Hospitals. Dr. Zaner is a current member of the American Dental Association and Maryland State Dental Association.
Dr. Esther Su lives in Rockville, and has been with us for more than 18 years. Dr. Esther Su is a graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She loves meeting patients with different needs, and thus different solutions.
Elizabeth truly loves everything about her job, the patients & her co-workers. She enjoys chatting with patients, and getting to know them as friends. She has been with us for over 12 years Elizabeth enjoys photography in her spare time.
Alma earned her Dental Assisting certificate from Montgomery College and also achieved her Radiation Tech certificate. When she is away from the office, you will usually find her spending time with her family.
Jasemine is another of our friendly voices at the front desk. She loves working with our patients, her coworkers, and meeting new people.She is originally from Gaithersburg and enjoys spending time with her family, going out with friends, shopping, and reading when she is away from the office.

My partner and I both drive from DC for Dr. Daftary! Dr. Daftary and his staff are very welcoming and he always does a quick and efficient job. The front staff is always friendly and accommodating for scheduling. Definitely reccomend Lakeforest if you're looking for a new dentist. You're in great hands here!

I stated seeing Dr. Daftary in 2013 when I still had more than a dozen teeth with multiple metal fillings and cracks. I was regularly experiencing infections and was having some gum problems. He set me on the path to the best dental health of my adult life by giving me crowns on my severely damaged teeth and referring me to a periodontist for my gums. He also saw me through a number of successful root canals and referred me for a couple of necessary implants. Today, as I approach my 65th birthday I am in the best dental health of my adult life. I have since moved to New Mexico but thought of Dr. Daftary with gratitude today when I received a crown on my last tooth with any remaining metal fillings.

I have been using the services of Lakeforest Dental Associates for over 7 years. I originally chose them based on a referral I received, and I'm very happy with the care they have provided. The office is conveniently located, with plenty of free parking. The staff are all very friendly. There has been virtually no turnover in staff during the entire time I've been going there. The office is run very efficiently, and appointments are always on-time. My dentist is very experienced, honest, and trustworthy, and has provided great service and advice for my oral care. I would highly recommend this dentist.

I'm amazed by Dr. Zaner's skills and kindness. Visiting the dentist has never been a fun experience for me, but Dr. Zaner works so professionally and fast, I didn't feel any pain during and after. He also made sure I understand the treatment process and showed me pictures, and explanations of what he is doing in every step. I felt that I'm in good hands. His office people are very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended this place!

Lakeforest has cared for me for several years. They're always well organized, thoughtful and professional. In the last couple of years the condition of my teeth degraded dramatically, and I needed a lot of help - more than a dozen root canals! Dr Daftari organized the work carefully to fit my time constraints. We counseled together so my desires were factored into the work. He paid close attention to my differing needs as he worked on each tooth (some were harder to numb than others, but he was very creative in solving problems). He enabled me to function normally throughout the process. The results are nothing short of outstanding. I'm 71; I have every expectation that this work will sustain me for the rest of my life. And they look GREAT!

What a challenging year 2020 has been for us all! Finding a new dentist was not easy. I selected Lakeforest Dental just based on the shortest travel distance from my house. And it was the right decision! Dr. Daftary is a humble genius who is sincere and honest about his job. He provided the right, timely and affordable advise without pressure or sounding the alarm. He helped me with 2 root canals, 2 crowns and a 10 month long Invisalign process. He is a smart doctor who analyzed multiple options to save me teeth and money. Booking appointments was a breeze and at my convenience, including a few emergencies. His diligent and assiduous staff was always on top of sending reminders, confirming appointments and extending grace time if I was late for some of them. Delani - his dental assistant and Elizabeth - the dental hygienist are also very responsible and accommodating of my needs, especially during this COVID-19 period. Overall, I had a great experience with Lakeforest Dental and highly recommend them for any kind of dental service. Thank you Dr. Daftary and staff for your help and effort.

I had a great experience. The staff is very nice and personable. The office was clean and the practiced social distancing with care. Dr. Zaner was very gental when performing the procedure. I plan to use them as my primary source for dental care.

Today was my first visit with this group. I was amazed by their patient centered approach. The hygienist is technically superb and personally warm and joyful. The doctor also provided thorough and thoughtful assessment. Beyond the service component, I like the location.
