Dr. Lakebrink (Doc)is a 1985 graduate of the University Of Missouri Kansas City School Of Dentistry. He received the Dr. Robert James award from the Midwest Implant Institute with excellence in the field of Implantology.For the past 35 years Dr. Lakebrink has practiced all facets of General Dentistry with an emphasis in Cosmetic and Implantology.Dr. Lakebrink implements current State of the Art dentistry which includes same day tooth colored crowns and chair side restorations utilizing CEREC and E4D technology as well as soft tissue laser in the treatment of optimal periodontal health, one visit root canals, and ZOOM! whitening.
In order to offer the latest treatment options available in dentistry, Dr. Lakebrink puts a high emphasis on continuing education and has completed over 400 continuing education hours in the areas of Implant and Cosmetic dentistry alone. Dr. Lakebrink believes in patients being individuals with diverse needs and utilizes his training to deliver the highest quality of dentistry in a pleasant and caring environment with family values.
Dr. Lakebrink (Doc)is married to his wife Cathy of 31 years. He can be found hanging out at the lake with his five kids:Carilee, Michelle, Scott, Lauren, and Kirk; or grilling out while watching Chiefs and Royals games with the family dog, Marley.
Dr. D. Alexander Mitts is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. He graduated with honors and was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. He spent 6 years in Blue Springs providing excellent dental care to all of his wonderful patients before moving to Liberty. After 4 years with Lakebrink Dental, he loved the doctor, staff, and patients so much that he made the decision to become a business partner!! He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially cosmetics and working with children. He stays current with the latest trends in dentistry by attending numerous continuing education conferences every year, and has logged over 175 hours of education so far. Dr. Mitts is originally from Wichita, KS but because he and his wife loved living in Kansas City so much, they decided to permanently move here. In his free time he enjoys spending time exploring Kansas City with his wife, Christine, his daughter Genevieve, his sonsEverett and Bennett. He also enjoys running, reading, traveling and cheering on his alma mater, the University of Kansas. Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
Dr. Stephanie Straub is a graduate of Creighton University School of Dentistry. She spent 10 years in Independence providing excellent dental care to all of her wonderful patients before deciding to practice dentisty in Liberty. She really enjoys how dentistry allows her the opportunity to meet so many amazing people! She particularly enjoys Endodontics and Oral Surgery. She has spent the last couple years expanding her arsenal of skills to include Botox and lip filler! Dr. Straub is originally from Emporia, KS but after finishing school in Omaha, she relocated to the Plaza area where she ultimately met her husband! In her free time, she enjoys spending time at Grand Lake with her husband, Aaron, and her son Kaleo. She also enjoys spending time outside, traveling, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen! She especially loves football season and watching KC win! GO CHIEFS!!!
