Dr. Shanthi Nallasamy is a graduate of Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She graduated magna cum laude (high honors) and was consistently on the Deans List throughout her dental schooling. Dr. Nallasamy worked beneath Lake Villa Dentals original owner Dr. Bruce Teipel, DDS until his retirement in 2007 when she purchased the practice. Dr. Nallasamy constantly engages in continuing education to offer the most state-of-the-art procedures and equipment to her patients. Dr. Nallasamy is an active member of the International Dental Implant Association and has completed a fellowship through them. She is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society. The key to her success is her perfection.
Krystine graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys sharing the most current information and technology available regarding oral health and preventive care with her patients. Krystine ensures that each patient receives the best oral hygiene care. Her cleanings are thorough and provided with a gentle touch, helping patients feel more comfortable when they visit the dentist office. She is certified in CPR/AED training. Krystine is a member of the Chicago Dental Society and the Illinois Dental Society. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, biking, swimming, scuba diving, spending time with her family and playing with her two dogs.

Very professional, punctual, and friendly staff. One of the most efficient dental visits I've had. The doctor and staff are incredibly kind and take the time to make sure your visit is as comfortable as possible!

Love this dental office! Edger, the dental hygienist, was such a charm & was so compassionate and at tentative to my needs. Also provided great recommendations to help my oral hygiene go to the next level! Highly recommend!

I was referred to Lake Villa Dental by a friend. I was in need of a partial and was having a hard time at my old dental office getting one that fit and looked natural. Dr. Nallasamy listened to my concerns and was able to create a partial that not only fit properly but looks natural too. I also had a cavity filled during one of my visits and it was the most painless experience. The staff in Dr. Nallasamy's office was courteous and professional. Another benefit to this practice is timeliness, it didn't matter what time of day my appointments were, I was always seen on schedule. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a reliable, affordable, and competent dentist.

I have been a patient since July of 2020. I came to the office for emergency work, I was taken care of immediately. Dr Shanti and her staff have been wonderful. The best dentist office I've been to. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Always willing to work with your schedule and fit you in. Call to confirm appointments and follow ups to make sure everything is feeling alright. I cant say enough about what a great place this is. Highly recommended for any person living in or around lake county!

It was an excruciating emergency tooth ache that took me to Dr.Shanti the first time over a decade ago. Over the years, she and her doctors have put me and my whole family at ease when it comes to dental services. Very thorough professionals with a personal touch.

I have extreme anxiety about going to the dentist due to childhood trauma. Dr. Nallasamy is the kindest dentist I've ever had. She is very gentle during procedures. I've had cleanings, fillings, root canals, and crowns. She always takes care to ask if I'm comfortable or if I need a break. Her entire team is friendly and professional. The office is well decorated and comfortable. I also enjoy the fact that I can support a local business in my own town. These gals are the best!

Amazing staff and Jen did an amazing job getting my teeth super clean and super smooth. Valerie is so helpful and so welcoming, she makes the appointment fun. Doc shanthi is super gentle and gets the job done right. Love that!!! Definitely would recommend to everyone to go there
