Dr. Paul Galante is a recipient of the Top Dentist Award by NJ Monthly magazine for three years running. Originally from Brooklyn New York, he graduated from Fordham University, received his dental degree from NYU College of Dentistry, and completed his fellowship and residency training program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. He has over 25 years of experience in many aspects of oral surgery but his true passion is changing patient's lives with dental implants. Dr. Galante strives to provide his patients with the ultimate dental experience and care. When he is not working, he enjoys quality time with his family, working out, or traveling when time allows. Dr. Galante is also a huge supporter of animal rescue.
Originally from Long Island, Dr. Frederick Baker has been in practice for over 30 years. He attended Adelphi University for his undergraduate education, and received his dental degree from Georgetown University. He was accepted into a general practice residency program at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Baker was an associate dentist in Somerville New Jersey for 3 years until he opened his own practice in Parsippany New Jersey. He has proudly served his community since then. In his spare time, which is minimal, Dr. Baker enjoys the beach with his family and grandchildren, bicycling for fun, and cooking especially on the grill. He is also an avid fisher!

I am honestly shocked by the reviews, I guess some people caught them on a bad day! I recently got 4 wisdom teeth removed, and all I have to say is, that was the best/easiest procedure I have ever gotten. Dr. Galante and his team walked me through the process and kept reassuring me throughout the WHOLE thing. I am currently healing and barely have swelling or pain, I am genuinely shocked and happy with how well it all went. Thank you for your help!

There is a serious lack of customer service skills by the ladies working the front desk. Outright rude. The doctor and techs are great, but that professionalism doesn't extend to the front desk. I can't trust these people handling my information when they clearly do not care enough to show interest in my concerns.

I was little hesitant to go there for my son teeth extraction base on the reviews. The front desk lady was kind of rude. Besides that it turned out to be good experience. Dr Galante and dental assistant are very nice and professional. They make my son comfortable. I can tell they care about what they do.

My 16 yr old son Patrick had to have all 4 wisdom taken out and I have to say Dr.Galante was great! He was very friendly explained everything to us and my sons healing time was even better, his staff was also great very kind I highly recommend this office.

I went for a cleaning today. I walked out with my gums bleeding and not one stain was removed from my teeth. I'm definitely not returning to this practice.What a shame this was definitely not worth my time or money. How do you go in for a cleaning and come out with no difference except for bleeding gums.I definitely wouldn't recommend.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Firstly, Dr Galante said that if I did not get all four of my wisdom teeth removed, it would cause my mouth lifelong damage and I got scared and trusted him even though I'm sure he only wanted money. He also picked up a personal phone call on his cell phone in the middle of my appointment- I still trusted this man. Next appointment I go to get them removed and told him I have TMJ problems, and he responded rudely and said it's too late now and I'm already there for the appointment. I was unsure what to do and asked to consult with my mother and he refused and started lecturing me how it's my decision. I don't know who he thinks he is because I can consult with my mother if I want. I even asked to get 2 teeth out first and 2 teeth out another day and he refused that too, even though only getting 2 out at once is normal. Him and the dental hygienist started the process and were checking my heart rate and it was going fast because I was so upset at that point. He looked at my heart rate and outright asked me if I take anxiety medication and when I said no, he laughed and said "well you should!" Who does this? You are in the medical field, Dr Galante, learn to respect your patients. Then at the end of the procedure, I was a little loopy because of the laughing gas, and the dental hygienist asked me "why are you acting as if you're out of it?" You would think that someone who was fresh out of surgery would be treated with some kindness and respect. I was also not given any gauze by the hygienist and my mouth kept bleeding the whole ride home. Galante also told me that if my mouth hurts during the numbing injections to raise my hand so that he can stop, and when I did, he did not stop. Needless to say my jaw did not recover and both sides of my jaw crack every single day and I have a hard time talking or eating to this day, ONE YEAR LATER. When I set up another appointment due to my jaw pain, Galante did not give any advice, instead he told me I'm babying my mouth. YOU MESSED UP and you're blaming me? I would advise everyone DO NOT GO HERE! They are money seeking heartless people who do not deserve any patients. This man doesn't deserve to be called a doctor and the hygienist should be fired. And this review is not from my personal account so Lakeview Dental don't even try telling me that I was not a patient here. My face has become asymmetrical and my jaw hurts 24/7. Thank you for ruining my mouth!!!

My 8 year old son had 3 front teeth. Two of the teeth were fused together. I took him to countless amounts of dentist, oral surgeon and orthodontist. No one would help. I found this practice. I am SO happy I did! Dr. Galante is WONDERFUL! He told me exactly what needs to be done and what might happen after the surgery. He performed the surgery on my son. The third tooth is completely removed! My son had very little pain afterwards. Dr. Galante made my son feel at ease with this major surgery. I am VERY grateful for Dr. Galante and his staff!

I can't speak for the practice as a whole, this review is for Dr. Galante and his team of expert dental assistants. Met the Dr for a consult and left with a decent grasp of work to be done and a price. Everything Dr. Galante said happened and it was the quoted price. Dr. Galante and his team dealt with me professionally and put effort into making me feel comfortable. As for Dr. Galante's needle work, it's the least amount of pain I've ever felt and had follow up chances to confirm. Even post surgery recovery was easier than I expected. I followed the post op instructions to the letter and besides some soreness had no issues. If you need an oral surgeon, give Dr. Galante and his team a chance.

Both my son and I changed dentist. My son had a horrible experience and I felt like the cleanings were not thorough. It just wasn't a inviting office.

I highly recommend Dr Galante and Dr Baker at Lake View Dental. I need a lot of dental work and I am so fortunate to have found this dental practice. Since the minute you walk in you are greeted by such professional and courteous staff. I recently had 3 teeth pulled by Dr Galante, not only am I a nervous wreck but I'm petrified to go to a dentist, however, the experience wasn't the painful ordeal I had expected. Dr. Galante's assistant was holding my hand the whole time while Dr Galante's soothing voice kept me at ease. He was done before I knew it. Dr. Baker completed the job with the help of his skilled and competent assistant and gave me the most beautiful temporaries that are just perfect. I was always very conscious of my smile but now I can't stop smiling. Please go to this dental practice for all of your dental needs. I guarantee you won't be disappointed !

I had both of my wisdom teeth removed here and the process was so quick and easy it definitely helped through the uncertainty. The office staff and Dr. Galante were very understanding and gave honest opinions on what to expect. I really appreciated them going above and beyond to make the process as pain free as possible. Booked an appointment a few months ago. The receptionist and other staff are great but the doctor is horrendous. From his demeanor, I don't think he was interested in seeing any patients and he did not do a good job explaining to me what the procedure was or what had gone wrong with my teeth. Instead, I was given an iPad to watch some videos. My experience was very "commercial". Avoid and find a better dentist. Needless to say, I found a better one around the corner.

The office staff is friendly. I am usually nervous about the dentist but I was made to feel very comfortable here. They are clean and they do not have a long wait time. Ask questions, they answer them. Would recommend and I am continuing to go here.

DR Baker, is too old to perform anymore. He uses really old techniques and makes your teeth a ticking time bomb with a temporary old school fix. He really needs to retire, he combined two teeth into a bridge like its 1980 and now my gums are sore. This guy needs to retire asap

I went to get my 4 wisdom teeth removed and honestly I went in so nervous. Until Dr.G and his amazing assistants made me feel relaxed and calm. I did not feel a thing during the whole process and that's what I was mostly worried about. This place was amazing & I will recommend anyone to come here . It was great , I thank you guys so much.

I was very nervous about having all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted, Dr. Galante made me feel at ease. Dr. Galante and his staff went above and beyond to make sure my extraction was a success. Would recommend 5/5 stars.

Dr. Paul is the best doctor I have ever seen (it might be just because he is the only doctor I have seen so far, just kidding). He was willing to perform surgery that the other doctors were scared to do due to possible complications, and it went well, he was so successful. May Allah (God) bless him. Edit: forget to mention the staffs in the front desk are very rude.
