From my very first contact with Lake Sammamish Family Dentistry I was impressed. Amanda, the woman at the front desk, listened patiently to my story of woe from another dentist's office and was able to find me an appointment ten days later. She took my insurance info and said she would find out in advance what would and would not be covered. When I arrived I felt welcome and warmth. Michelle was my hygienist. She took x-rays, measured pockets, and cleaned my teeth. She was gentle, and reassured me that I was doing a good job with my home care. When it was time to see the dentist, Michelle asked someone else to start with her next patient so she could be there and relay info to the dentist. She stayed with me until we had set the next appointment. I spent about 5 minutes with the dentist, Dr. Frank Sciabica. (That's pretty standard for me. I see the hygienist every 4 months, work hard at keeping things clean, and avoid the dentist as much as possible. I have periodontal disease which is why I go more than twice a year.) Dr. Sciabica was easy-going and funny, but what I liked best about him is that he listened to Michelle, the one who had been working on my mouth for the last hour, plus. After this first visit, I have nothing but great things to say about Lake Sammamish Family Dentistry. I'm so happy to have found a wonderful practice with warm and caring staff. Plus, they take my insurance and are only 10 minutes from my home!

SEE UPDATE I give four stars rather than five because of concerns that I have with regard to adequately keeping the patient in the loop about pending treatment that need to be done. I was surprised with an expensive list of treatments between successive visits, although mention had been made that some work was needed. This visit, Dr. Sciabica took several minutes and with photos explained to me what the situation was and what was needed and why. We set a priority and began the treatment. As disappointed as I am about the costs, I now understand the issues and why treatment is needed. I look forward to a continued and positive five-star relationship with Lake Sammamish Family Dentistry. UPDATE I have continued using Dr. Sciabica as my dentist and I am very pleased with the service. It is a well-run practice and he is an excellent dentist in all dimensions. I recommend him to anyone seeking a dentist in Issaquah. Any precious reservations are no longer pertinent. UPADAT 2 This office continues to improve. Their workmanship is outstanding and the concern for the patient is exemplary. I had an old crown (not done by them) come off and they worked me in on the same day to reattach it. Thank you. We are very glad to have them for our dental work.

The staff and dentist were able to get me in right away! I broke my tooth and they took care of it that day! Even though the dentist was just getting ready to leave. The level of professionalism and customer service is outstanding. The work they did looks amazing.

The best dental practice in Issaquah . The staff is very professional and nice. Dr. Lisin is excellent. She has a gentle touch and very professional. I am an old women and have seen a lot of good and bad hygienists in my life. Alexa is one of the best I have eve had.

After my first visit here, I must say I am thoroughly impressed and pleased with the staff and my experience! My technician Michelle did an excellent cleaning and check-up and is so friendly! Dr. Lisin is great and I would recommend this dentist 100%!
