Dr. Ofeliya Kara provides dental care for patients in Woodbridge, Virginia at Dr. Robert C. Dost & Associates. Dr. Kara recently began offering dental care at this practice after receiving her Virginia accreditation for licensure. Before that, Dr. Kara worked in a private practice in Moscow and moved to the U.S. in 1999 to provide patients in the states with quality dental care. Her career as a dentist started in 1997 after she earned her degree from the Moscow Medical Stomatological Institute.
Dr. Kara is committed to making sure she can provide her Woodbridge patients with dependable care. In order to do this, she takes continuing education courses in dentistry and participates in dental study clubs. This helps her stay informed on the latest treatments and practices in dentistry. For example she recently completed a two-year residency program, called The Advanced Education in General Dentistry, at NYU Lutheran Dental Medicine in 2016.
Dr. Kara speaks both English and Russian fluently. When shes not providing dental care or furthering her dental education, she spends time with friends and explores Woodbridge and the surrounding areas. She also loves dining out and going to the movies.

I had an emergent issue, got an appointment next day even though I was a new patient. I originally wanted a female but was extremely happy and comfortable with him. He was compassionate, knowledgeable and gentle. His assistant was equally as compassionate, knowledgeable and gentle. I've had many problems with dentists and office staff that have questioned do I really have to search and search for good care. I called several offices before I could find someone who would see me and whose address was correct vs what was in my insurance provider directory. I do plan to return and continue with my doctor even though I was offered a female. I also appreciated the office having all the prices before starting the procedure. I'm also impressed at how advanced the dental world has advanced and the prices weren't grossly inflated because of these things.

Lake Ridge Dental is the best. All the people there are very nice and treat you as part of their family. Dr. Kara and Ashling Wilson (Dental Hygienist) are super in giving me what they are going to do and what I need to make my teeth healthy again. Thanks for making me at ease when you are working on my teeth.

Took both my boys (8-11) and myself for several procedures including a crown, cavities and sealants. The team was amazing! Everything was taken care of the same day (minus the crown delivery) and the kids had an amazing experience. Dr Masoud was professional, kind and efficient. Highly recommend the practice!

I am TERRIFIED of the dentist. Went in to find out I needed a root canal. And it was happening today. I literally cried I was so scared. They were soooo nice and assured me I would feel nothing. I was hesitant but calmed down and put on my big girl pants. I literally almost fell asleep in the chair. I was completely relaxed and felt nothing. I can't recommended them enough. I will probably keep my teeth clean from now on.

It would be hard to find a better hygienist then Ashley, she was so thorough and up to date on all health aspects. Dr. Kara was also wonderful and top notch , highly recommended them both !! Today I met Dr. Berrada for a sleep apnea consult. She went through dental appliances as permanent alternatives for CPAP machines. She was up to date and very knowledgeable on the latest medical devices used to help permanently resolve sleep apnea. She answered every question and concern I had. I was extremely impressed with Dr. Berrada, another wonderful doctor at this practice. Also the staff out front, are polite, courteous and very efficient, kudos to all. !!!

My wife and daughter had appointments at LRD, and both say that it was one of the best dental experiences they have had in a long time. We initially settled on using LRD because of their positive rating through our insurance company and a few other reviews. Booking was user friendly. The front desk associate walked us through the new patient process and was responsive to all inquiries. On the day of the appointment, we were greeted by friendly and professional staff that took my wife and daughter back for their cleaning on time. Both my wife and daughter were extremely impressed by the care the Hygienist took to ensure that they were not in any pain and that they recieved a thorough cleaning. The staff is not pushy nor did they assert a guilt trip on my wife and daughter about additional work that needed to be done. They were professional and to the point on the measures and techniques to keep their teeth healthy to and beyond their next appointment. I highly recommend LRD to any one or family looking for a dentistry professional that keeps patients needs at the forefront of the business.

Great experience! I normally hate going to the dentist, but Dr. Masoud and staff make it almost easy. They are friendly and I appreciate how they constantly explain what they're doing. The tech Alex, in particular, has a very light touch--didn't feel any discomfort while getting a crown

Dr Masoud, D.D.S. Is the bestest dentist I've ever been to. He just did my root canal and crown.. NO pain. Was scared to death. But he's such a nice doctor with a great bedside manner. His whole staff were just wonderful with me! I'm so thrilled. This was a non preferred task for me personally. Took my mom to him too. Her experience was five stars as well. Thankyou Lake Ridge Dental! You are our whole family's dental team for sure! If you are scared of going to the dentist like I was. They are the best! Don't worry! :-)

As always it was a great visit for my annual dental check up. Ashling does a fantastic job and Dr Masoud makes you feel comfortable and tells you what is going on. We have been going there for years and have had great a great experience service every time.
