The office staff are very nice and professional, however the dentist I seen was fast & rude. I came in to fix a chipped tooth & after fixing it she told me it would break again & might break tomorrow. I pay you to fix my tooth to not break again. ? She also made my tooth look weird. It's smaller the the other. Do not recommend what so ever!!!

I was having some bad tooth pain and decided to go here because it was closest to my home. I get in and was informed that I needed a root canal and was scheduled for later that day. The reception staff, the X-ray tech were excellent and so nice. By the time the dentist was ready for me I had been sitting 45 minutes past my appointment time. I finally get to her chair and I might as well have been a rock for all the compassion she showed me. It felt like she was drilling and drilling then abruptly she stopped and said "I can't finish this you need to go to a specialist ". Gave me my check back and a referral to a endodontist and a prescription for a few ibuprofen. Well the endodontist was booked for 2 weeks out. When the lidocaine wore off I was in the most excruciating pain in my life. This dentist has no emergency number at all, so I ended up having to go to the urgent care. Needless to say I don't know what she did to my tooth that resulted in my face swelling the size of a basketball but I went to my primary care physician the very next day and was prescribed proper medication for nerve pain and a antibiotic, and ended up having to have emergency oral surgery and the tooth had to be removed. I don't recommend this kind of cruel treatment to my worst enemy. I certainly would never recommend this dentist to another living soul. This dentist here is why people fear going to them.

I loved Dr. Torrey and did not know he retired. I showed up for my bi-annual cleaning what a nightmare. The hygienist rested her drill on my lips the entire cleaning. It was the most uncomfortable experience. My mouth hurt for three days after that cleaning. I paid my bill not really paying attention. When I received my statement of benefits from my insurance I realized they charged me for a fluoride treatment that I did not get. Then I looked back at my bill and found I had a negative balance. Summary: 1. The service sucked 2. They charged me for services I did not get 3. They charged me a balance that I did not owe. Now I have to sit by and wait for some chic to "audit" my account. I can only assume they are finding a way to "plug" the difference so that I do not get.my money back. What sucks the most is that now I have to find a new dentist. September 2022.They HAVE NOT fixed this as listed below. They do not respond, they owe me money. This people suck.

I saw CC the hygienist and she was wonderful. She is very attentive & you can tell she really cares for her patients. The decor in the office is beautiful and it was very clean and tidy. The whole staff made me feel very welcomed and comfortable the whole time I was there. :)

Great place to address dental concerns!!! I'm new to the area and had a hard time finding a dentist. My friend originally recommended a place in the Fredericksburg area but it was too far from my house, I spoke to the lovely appointment coordinator Melissa at that office and she recommended Lake Plaza Dental. The staff really took their time to get to know me as a patient and made me feel very comfortable. Cee the hygienist took time to explain to me what she was doing before she did anything. This is a great place to go if you want to start fresh with a new dental office.

I haven't been to the dentist in years so I decided to do some research and picked Lake Plaza. I am so glad I did. They made me feel so comfortable and did an amazing job...from the receptionist to the dentist. The entire staff was amazing. I can't recommend them enough. They go that extra mile for you. Don't hesitate to call them if you need any type of dental care...they do it all!!

I read the reviews on line but when I called the receptionist was very pleasant and friendly. She asked what insurance I had and proceeded to take the time helping me schedule an appointment. The staff was was very understanding what I experienced at other offices so the could handle something that we talked about before the cleaning and dental work. I felt comfortable the entire time. Thank you Dr Rodriguez and staff. Definitely going back

A new practice took over and no one mentioned it, even after a few calls when we needed to move appointments. We made a trip out there for no reason. Now we have to find a new dentist. There was no excuse for not letting us know that Dr. Torrey was gone. The Lake Plaza Dental website is identical except for the names of the people who work there.

From my first visit, through today's 2 fillings - AWESOME. Wish I had found them a lot sooner. Haley, Dr. Rodriguez and all of the staff have been very friendly, efficient and I'm looking forward to my follow-up, in Sept. Great Job!

My boyfriend made an appointment with this office last week and the day before his appointment the receptionist CONFIRMED with him over the phone that this office would accept his insurance. He took off work to attend his appointment but when he arrived the receptionist proceeds to tell him that they in fact do not accept his insurance and he was "misinformed". The receptionist then had the nerve to ask if he wanted to pay out of pocket for their services. This is disappointing to me personally because I have been looking for a new dentist in the area since I have moved to the Locust Grove/Fredericksburg area and was hopeful when I found an office literally right across the street from where I live. But unfortunately its just a waste of time, they will tell you they accept your insurance over the phone then when you come in they try to trap you in to paying out of pocket for their services. They only accept two types of insurance my boyfriend and I have literally never even heard of. Don't bother.

I had my first appointment with this clinic yesterday and they were amazing! The interior looks very comforting and I almost forgot I was at the dentist. Kristina took my X-rays and did my cleaning and she was really cool. I didn't know she was the office manager until she said so. She was very personable and kind! Dr.Rodriguez was also very nice! She gave me good instructions on how to continue my dental health. Overall this office was amazing and I will definitely be coming back!

My family and I recently moved to the area from out of state. We cold called a few dental offices in close proximity to our home. We made the decision to go with Lake Plaza Dental because of Kristina. She took the time to answer all my questions, of which I had many. Kristina was able to schedule all four of us within a couple weeks. I was thrilled with how welcoming they were to my children who are seven and eight years old (other offices were not too keen on taking children). Kristina was transparent about the process and even though they are out of network for us, we decided it was worth going with them if their in person service was as good as their scheduling service. We were not disappointed! Our in person experience was as high of a caliber as the scheduling process. The entire staff was warm, friendly, and genuinely cared about us as patients. We left feeling like we were cared for instead of just another number. My kids are asking when we can go back!! We highly recommend Lake Plaza Dental! What an amazing team!

Dr. Torey was great but since he retired the new staff is pushy and didn't listen when I declined a referral and told me to go anyway. The only bright spot is one of the hygienists that's left over from when Dr. Torey was there. Do not recommend anymore.

I told them I had to pickup my daughter from school and would be a few minutes late to my appointment. They agreed until day of and called me to cancel when I was on my way. This is after I called them to let them know I was 10 minutes away. Do not recommend.

I didn't even get to see the dentist. The receptionist who was no help and not welcoming when we came in. I got there a half a hr before my appointment. Gave insurance card. She stated she could not get a hold of my insurance company. When I talked with them in less then 3 minutes. It would of been ok if she wasn't short while talking with me. I would not recommend.
