Lake Placid Family Dental has been serving our community since 1998,and we love enriching the lives of our neighbors as much as we love keeping their smiles healthy. We believe in supporting our community and investing in it for constant improvement.
We know that being flashy isn't as impressive as being consistently kind and capable. That's why Lake Placid Family Dental is more about all the little wows of considerate service. We always have fresh coffee and cold water in the waiting room, disposable toothbrushes and floss, easy access for handicapped patients via our ramp and automatic doors, and lovely flowers outside our office. We also have a TV in every treatment room for our patients to enjoy and we even provide warm towlettes for our patients' comfort during treatment. Make sure to pass by our office during the holidays to check out our beautiful decorations!
We make our office accommodating to all of our patients, from the little ones to the grownups. Kids like the children's area in our waiting room where they can color, read books, and share toys with other kids. Our adult visitors appreciate our comfy waiting room couch, current and diverse magazines and daily newspaper.
Our friendly staff works with each patient to get the most of their insurance plans and to make sure all necessary paperwork is in order. We also provide educational videos from the CAESY system to keep our patients informed about their dental care options.

Ultimate in professional service. Very thorough examination and straightforward explanation of treatment options. Definitely not a charlatan as i Inquired about a very expensive treatment option and he talked me out of it by explaining it's potential shortfalls and advised me on more sensible and cost effective treatment options. Hygienists and office staff are very accommodating.

Dr Balestrini and Lake Placid Family Dental are an excellent choice for dental care. They recently treated two issues for me, one of which was a vary deep old silver filling that needed replacement. Dr. Balestrini operates a clean, bright, up-to-date facility staffed by great administrative and medical people. He was very focused and careful with my procedures. I felt VERY well taken care of. Highly recommended!!

Dr Balastrini was able to see me promptly for a filling that fell out. He was decisive and straightforward in his evaluation of the tooth, and others surrounding it. His office staff, friendly and helpful which made for a very pleasant overall appt. During the procedure of refilling a large tooth, Dr Balestrini was polite, professional, he explained everything he would be doing and expectations of me as the patient. I had full confidence in his abilities, as he has practiced in the area for many years and my husband was also pleased with his assistance in a former dental emergency. He has gained two new long term patients, due to the overall excellent experience of both of us. He is friendly, but when it comes to the procedure, serious and focused, exactly what you want in a dentist. Bravo to the conservative, honest dentistry that Dr Balestrini practices!
