Dr. Carrie Laird graduated with honors from Oregon Health and Science University. She has been practicing in Lake Oswego since 2008 and feels so fortunate to be part of such a wonderful community. She has been speaking dentistry since day one. Her mother, Linda Bullock, DMD is a practicing dentist in Springfield, OR and has been a wonderful mentor and role model for Dr. Laird. She remains a great sounding block for different ideas and complex cases.
Academy of General Dentistry. She has studied implant dentistry extensively as well as the latest in cosmetic and conservative dentistry. She continues to strive and further her knowledge to bring that back to her patients.
Dr. Lisa Strauch is a board certified prosthodontist who specializes in implant, esthetic, and reconstructive dentistry. Dr. Strauch began her education at Jesuit High School and obtained her bachelor of science degree from Gonzaga University. She attended Oregon Health and Science University where she earned her doctorate in dental medicine. After dental school, Dr. Strauch continued her education and attended a three year prosthodontic residency at University of Connecticut Health Center
in Farmington, Connecticut. During her residency, Dr. Strauch was trained in complex care and advanced esthetic and implant procedures. She received a masters in dental science degree and her research is focused on all ceramic dental restorations.

If you have any kind of serious illness, I recommend you seek another provider. My dentist retired and I waited weeks to get an initial appointment with this clinic. Unfortunately, my use of a supplement had created several small cavities. I met with Dr. Carrie Laird and she was somewhat trepidatious about working with me, given my health history, but when I assured her it had never affected my dental care she agreed to take me on as a patient. Imagine my surprise when the following week I received a phone call - not from Dr. Laird - but from one of her assistants I had never met telling me that they'd held an office meeting and voted not to take me on as a patient. It would be one thing if Dr. Laird had called to tell me she wasn't comfortable - that would have been the professional, and kind, thing to do. To add insult to injury, they kept saying they were doing it for my benefit so I could go to a holistic provider. This left me with a rare illness, no dentist, work that needed to be performed, and no referral from a practice that decided that I was a liability. As a person with a disability, this was one of the most humiliating experiences I have ever had to endure at the hands of someone who was supposed to help me. I am not a person who lacks confidence but being treated like an Untouchable was a kick in the gut. In the interest of full disclosure this actually happened to me a couple of years ago and I am finally at the point where I can write about it objectively. Also, I asked them to send the X-rays they took to Aesthetic Dentistry of Lake Oswego (who are absolutely wonderful) and they were all but unusable in the format they chose to use, over my objections. Just, as a family member says, a piece of work!

I've gotten two cleanings and one filling there and they're 10/10. I'm very scared and get very anxious when going to the dentist. But I'm so happy I've found a dentistry where all the staff is so friendly, kind and empathetic to my nervousness. Thank you so much.

I've been Dr. Laird's patient for quite a few years. She's not only a true professional, but she's also warm and friendly. The technicians are kind and proficient, and the equipment is state of the art. You can't go wrong by choosing Lake Oswego Family Dentistry as your dental provider!

Always a great experience! Love Dr. Laird but Sarah, my hygienist........, love having my teeth cleaned, it's just like catching up with a dear friend and leaving with a shiny smile. I would trust no one else with my mouth!

I wish there was an option to give more than five stars! Dr. Carrie Laird and her staff are incredible. This was my first positive dentist experience of my life, and I couldn't recommend this office more highly. I was there for my first cleaning in a couple years (due to moving around the country a lot), so it was a longer appointment. Maggie (my hygienist) and Dr. Laird, walked me through everything to let me know what we were going to be doing next and what it would feel like. I've never had a staff be so thorough with letting the patient know what was going on; they usually just start poking around in there, while attempting to get you to talk about your weekend. Classic. Dr. Laird was bright, charming, kind and very intelligent. She presented me with options, and wasn't pushy to get you to do whatever she felt was the best option. She left it up to you, as the patient. Her staff is warm and welcoming, and you feel right at home the moment you walk through the door. Look no further. This is the dental office for you.

I am so lucky to find Dr. Carrie Laird and to have her as my dentist for the last 10 years. My husband and kids they go to her also. Dr. Laird worked recently on whitening my teeth using the ZOOM system, I LOVE THE RESULTt!!! Also performed couple crowns on the most visible teeth in my mouth, the front upper two and now they looks AMAZING!!!!!! Thank you Dr. Laird!

I work with dentists for a living. There are lots of good dentists out there but you'll be hard pressed to find a better, kinder, more pleasant group to take care of your smile. The docs are highly skilled as well. I strongly recommend this office.

Fantastic office, they always take care of everything and demonstrate that unique balance of patient care and advanced medical knowledge that puts one immediately at ease. They also aren't reactionary in their recommendations, but more "consultive" and educational in approach, which I especially appreciate.

Friendly, competent, caring staff and care givers. Dr. Laird is thoughtful and knowledgeable, explains all options when some work may be needed. Erin is an excellent hygienist. Everyone in the office makes the patient feel comfortable and confident. A good place to go if you are looking for a great team of staff and providers who have the skills and knowledge needed.
