Hi, my name is Dr. Matthew Harris. Dentistry has been part of my life from birth; both my parents, my siblings, and my wife are all in the dental field. Lake of the Pines has that similar small town feel I grew up in and love. I received my DMD from Oregon health and science University in Portland. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and have a passion for learning and continuing education. I also practice sedation dentistry and like taking care of high dental anxiety patients and helping them feel more comfortable. More than anything, I love helping people. My goal is to always provide the best dental care possible and make each visit a positive experience.

When Im out of the office I love to spend time with my wife and our three young boys. We enjoy all things sports and my boys especially love my famous, from scratch, chocolate chip cookies. Hi, Im Lisa! Ive been office manager at Lake of the Pines Dental for almost 30 years. When the office was sold last year I was thrilled that Dr. Harris asked me to stay. I love this office and the patients that come here. I have lived in this area since 1974 where my husband Gregg and I raised our two children. Now we have four grandchildren who we love to see often and cheer them on in their sports games.

Hello, my name is Jana and I have been a registered dental hygienist for 38 years and counting. I have been in the same practice for 30 of those yearsthis last year with Dr. Harris, whom weve welcomed with open arms.Ive always felt this career to be very important in the realm of overall health, and feel fortunate to care for our patients from that perspective. Having been in a single office for three decades also gives you the opportunity to build relationships, and I find that extremely rewarding. One of the things most important to me, is working toward finding balance between work and my personal life. I love to travel and equally enjoy walking the beach, or strapping on a backpack and heading into the woods. My children are grown, but I love to spend time hanging out with them as much as I can, as well as with my partner Drew. If Im home, Im either reading, entertaining or snuggling our two spoiled felines.

Hi, my name is Danielle. Im a registered dental assistant here at Lake of the Pines Dental and have been assisting since 2017. Naturally friendly and outgoing, I love interacting with my patients and listening to their dental concerns. I like to learn and be challenged to do better. My husband and I have two amazing little boys. We live in Grass Valley with generations of our families here. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and our two dogs. I also enjoy dirt biking and swimming in the summer time!

Hi my name is Casey Harris. Ive been married to Dr. Harris for 15 years, and truly love being able to work with him as well. I am a trained dental hygienist and dental assistant so you may find me filling in around the office. My favorite part of being a hygienist is getting to know my patients and finding the best way to help them with their dental concerns. I try my best to be thorough, yet gentle and believe that our oral health is an important part of our overall well being. I work part time so the rest of the week I get to be home with our 3 fun and energetic boys. We love spending time together playing sports, swimming with cousins and having family movie nights.

Hands down the best Dentist office Ive ever been. I like transparency, I like to know what to expect and when, I also like kindness and patience. More importantly good dental work. I feel I have found all of that and more here. Immediately coming in you get greeted with a warm welcome by Lisa whos the friendliest Office Manager youll ever meet. Jana is very thorough with her teeth cleaning. I dont think Ive ever gotten one as good as hers before. Best teeth cleaning in my life for sure. Danielle is a sweetheart, she immediately knew i was having an allergic reaction to my current toothpaste at the time and suggested for me to try another brand. She was absolutely right and I was very thankful to come back and let her know I took her suggestion and my new toothpaste is making me feel tons better. Dr. Harris is ever so understanding about my discomforts suffering from TMJ, and so patience when I need to rest my jaw, often asking me if I need one, (breaks I mean, not jaw). I have never been as happy with a Dentist office as I am with Lake of the Pines Dental. Searching for good Dentists can be hard and stressful, if you come across this one, I tell you search no more, this place will not disappoint.

First off, I only take the time to write reviews if I am EXCEPTIONALLY impressed with an establishment, or if I've had a horrible experience. In this case it is the first. I have been a registered dental assistant for over 15 years so I am EXTREMELY picky when it comes to finding a dentist that I love and can trust. Dr. Harris is an OUTSTANDING dentist. Not only did I notice that their office was extremely OSHA compliant (which is one of the most important things to me), I was impressed with Dr. Harris' kind and easy-going personality. If you have any insecurities about your teeth or dental hygiene, don't. Dr. Harris is so non-judgmental and will make you feel comfortable and good about yourself. Seriously, he is genuine and truly cares. In addition to his great personality, he is an exceptional dentist. He knows what he is doing and is very gentle. His dentistry skills are top-notch and I feel confident in referring all my friends and family to him. In addition to how amazing Dr. Harris is, I am equally impressed with his staff. They are all so very friendly and knowledgeable in their skill set. I highly recommend Dr. Harris at Lake of the Pines Dental.

Dr. Harris is an amazing dentist! I came in with intense pain in my tooth and he was able to give me a root canal while other Dentists were not willing or able to. He is very knowledgeable in the Dental field and I never felt the needle injection or any pain during his work. His staff are very professional, welcoming, and kind. I will be referring all of my friends and family to his office from now on.
