Dr. Nelson received his Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota, graduating first in his class. Continuing at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Nelson then completed his specialty training in orthodontics and received his Master of Science degree. Dr. Nelson is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Along with practicing at Lake Minnetonka Orthodontics, Dr. Nelson is also a member of the Cleft and Cleft Palate Team at Childrens Hospital in Minneapolis. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Midwest Society of Orthodontists, Minnesota Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and the Minneapolis District Dental Society.
Dr. Tiziani received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She received her dental degree and a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard University, graduating with honors. Dr. Tiziani completed her specialty training in orthodontics and received her Master of Science degree from the University of Minnesota.

Youll find Dr. T in pink gloves that smell like strawberries (according to one of our wonderful patients), and on certain Thursdays throughout the football season shes been known to wear her favorite Green Bay Packers jersey.

The staff is great, the pricing is fair and, above all, the service is excellent. Highly recommend! I'm On the third of my three kids and they're all very happy with their teeth!

I was very happy with the entire experience. Everyone from the front desk to the assistants and Dr Tiziani were all fabulous. Very detailed and skilled to get my teeth perfect. I couldn't be happier!

My daughter had a consultation this morning and the service was remarkable! Not only did we feel extremely welcomed but everyone in the office was incredibly nice. When going somewhere for the first time you are unfamiliar how the process will go. The staff was patient and thoroughly explained everything in details. I recommend Lake Minnetonka Orthodontics to everyone. The office is super cute, clean, friendly, and the staff is very knowledgeable. You can't beat that. Please go and see for yourselves. :)

Very friendly and inviting staff. Gave me all the avaliable options for the work I needed done with no pressure to go a certain rout. The procedure was fast and painless and the price was fair. Would absolutely recomend them to anyone who needs orthodontic work. Also plenty of parking available.

Both myself and my daughter have been having treatment with Lake Minnetonka Orthodontics. So of the staff are helpful, and patient to explain the procedures and cost. They've been very transparent throughout the process. They have been very flexible during this difficult time if the pandemic to continue to ensure exceptional customer service egoist maintaining the safety of their staff and clients. Can't recommend highly enough

Some of the Receptionists at this office are not welcoming. They are sometimes abrupt and difficult to work with. My daughter brought up to me, that she has been made to feel uncomfortable at this reception office. I thought it was just me but apparently not. At her last visit, I went in after dropping my daughter off. Both receptionists just stared at me when I told them why I was there. After a few uncomfortable seconds, one told me my daughter was in the back. The other one stated that she needed to take my temperature. After pointing the temperature gun to my head, she grabbed a bottle of hand sanitizer, quickly sprayed my hands along with my jacket. Then abruptly walked away. No apology or other communication. This is the second child of mine to have gotten braces here. Because of this, my my third went to another orthodontist, not only was it less expensive, the results were great and the front staff was very welcoming.

We have had 2 of our children come through Lake Minnetonka Orthodontics and they actually love coming here! Between the video games, the prize box up front, the hot chocolate and the rewards program, LMO makes an otherwise "icky" process almost fun. From a parent perspective, I love the comprehensive plan where you pay once instead of nickel and diming. Plus the staff are all very professional but friendly, and they communicate every step of the way.

Exceptional staff, exceptional results! These women will make your day and make your smile look its best! Much love!! I first visited Lake Minnetonka Orthodontics Excelsior location when I was in high school. 17 years later, my smile still looked great, but I thought I could use a little touch up. Only because I did not wear my retainers as a rebellious teen---tisk, tisk! So, I signed up for another round of braces. This time the duration was much shorter and worth every minute of it! I watched my teeth shift back into perfect alignment in the first few months with little-to-no discomfort. Thereafter, it was smooth sailing. Now, as I approach my final two weeks of treatment. I am excited to show off my beautiful smile once again; sans metal. All thanks to the wonderful women at Lake Minnetonka Orthodontics! Shout out to Dr. Tiziani, Dr. Carr, Jaime, and Stephanie! Kim and Lisa and Susan...the list goes on. Thanks for making me pretty!
