Great experience, they were upfront with costs and so kind to me as someone coming in with no dental insurance. Everyone was so kind and quick and efficient.

Everyone in this office is friendly and kind. They make the process enjoyable. Dana and Lionel are great hygienists who will make you (and your kids) feel comfortable. If you are looking for a dental home - look no further. LMD is the place to be.

Shockingly bad business sense for a practice that is concerned with quantity over quality. After missing an appointment, I was told I would be charged a $75 dollar fee, and if I didn't call them within 5 days they would cancel all my upcoming appointment (10 days later). On the 5th day, I called and was told all my appointments were canceled because I didn't get back to them by the 9th at midnight, not the 10th. Well, congrats. Not only have you missed making money on the appointment I didn't show up for, but also lost out on the $75 dollars you were going to charge me for missing that appointment, and all of my future business. If you are okay with essentially the same service you would get bringing your car to a Jiffy Lube, enjoy.

Very dissatisfied with the unprofessional way this clinic charge the patients. I was never told or communicate that my insurance wasn't accepted at this clinic. The day of my last visit in February I was told I have paid for all my invoices. They never clarified or told me I owe them any money. But then 6 months later I get bombarded with emails and messages for an outstanding balance of almost 700$ With no explanation why they never charge me earlier. I asked for a detail invoice why they where charging me this and they never disclose this information with me. So incredibly disappointed at the unprofessional way this clinic deal with their payments.

My experience at Lake Merritt Dental was far below par. The facilities are clean and the wait isn't too long, but beware of unexpected charges and unnecessary procedures. I went in for a cleaning and when I got to the dentist's chair they tried to lure me into a bunch of other procedures, like a crown and another deep cleaning that would cost me a fortune. After getting a second professional opinion I learned that Lake Merritt Dental was a complete and utter scam, not to mention the hidden charges for imaging that they didn't even mention to me during my visit. While I'm sure they offer good services, I advise that you're careful with the suggestions of their dentists and hygienists.

Check-in is easy and quick, the front-desk staff are very helpful. Alba is easily the best dental hygienist I've ever had. Super friendly, very thorough, and willing to give super-detailed answers to all of my very annoying questions. Great experience!

I have horrible dental anxiety and Dr. Patel, Rosie (I believe that's the office manager's name), and the entire team at Lake Merritt dental have been incredible! My dental anxiety resulted in me being overdue for some maintenance.They've made it so easy and comfortable to get my dental health back in peak condition. Recently I had a crown break off and they have been going above and beyond to get my crown replaced and keep me comfortable. My husband has also gone to them and had a great experience. Give them a try you won't be disappointed!

Have been very happy with my visits. Alba has been taking care of me for a couple of years now, and I have appreciated her advice and her diligence her taking care of my teeth. Have been really fortunate to be a patient here.

Best dentist I've ever been to. All of the staff here, including the administrators, hygienists, technicians, and dentists, are friendly, thorough, capable, thoughtful, and professional. Five stars for sure, I highly recommend.

This was far the best dentist experience I have ever had. Doctor Tnguyen was very transparent and informative about the treatment I needed. Dana the Hygienist was very kind, I didn't feel the numbing shots for my deep cleaning. Dana took extra time to make she got it done the first time. I'll be ready for my next deep cleaning appointment on the other side in a few weeks. Thanks a lot LMD staff

The staff and service here is amazing, from Dr.Tuk to the orthodontist Dr.Aggy. I have been going here for my ortho treatment and it has been an excellent experience. I highly recommend this place. I live in Hayward and drive all the way to Oakland because it is so worth it.

I've been going to Lake Merritt Dental for at least a few years now, and it's honestly the greatest dental experience I've ever had. Every time I visit, I feel so welcome and catered to; every single member of staff is an absolute joy. Aside from their wonderful soft skills which promote a friendly environment, they're also inarguably consummate professionals who keep my teeth in check. I have a taste for coffee... a bit of a habit... oh, whatever, it's an addiction. May as well be honest. BUT, the wonderful hygienists and doctors at this location keep my teeth looking decidedly fine despite that! Super special shoutout to Alba who remembers even the tiniest little details about my life and always gives me a reason to look forward to my next visit: I KNOW, right? Looking forward to going to the dentist. What a concept. If you're in the area and looking to get those pearly whites tended to, I can't possibly recommend LMD enough!!

I love everything about this place. They are super friendly, very professional and COVID safe! Dana and Alba are fantastic hygienists. I can't recommend this place enough. Seriously, stop searching for a dentist and just go here.
