Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Went in for a simple cleaning. The dental hygienist was absolutely brutal when measuring my gum pockets. It felt like she purposely pushed down way harder than necessary so she could then tell me that I have periodontitis and I need a fluoride treatment, which is not covered by insurance. When I denied the extra treatment she got extremely rude with me. I requested another dental hygienist but was told she was the only one there. That's when I walked out! The dentist and all the other staff were very nice and I probably would have stayed, but they need to find a new dental hygienist!

Very aggressive and not patient centered. I questioned fees they charged against those on my fee schedule, and they became defensive and said I was causing a conflict. Upon further questioning, no one admitted it was ever said. This manipulation and boldface lying has no value in health care.

Dr Hameedi is an exceptional dentist. He listened to my concerns and made recommendations to take care of my dental needs. I ended up getting root canal and crowns. The staff that work in the office are very professional and pleasant. They made sure that I knew the cost of my procedures upfront before I had the work done.

I hate dentistry, they are over price and lack empathy how ever I must say Sandra and her staff heavily debunked that statement. I love the service here. I was treated with the outmost genuine care, not the fake it to we take your money care. I was given multi tome option which help when it was coming to making well informed decisions.

I had a tooth crack along one of the silver fillings..it hurt and was getting worse...I needed help right away! I saw Lake Mary Modern Dentistry right beside Fresh Market and looked them up. With all of the positive reviews I decided to give them a try and called them. They scheduled me an appointment right away. ...They sent me a link to register with them and to download the "Smile Generation MyChart App" which organizes your appointments and lists all of your medications that the dentists might prescribe for you...you can even add your parents accounts so that you can help them manage their appointments and medications! When i came in they made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. They asked if the app was ok and did i answer all of the questions or was the app being difficul? If so just ask and they were happy to help! They went over my insurance coverage and made sure I was comfortable with the out of pocket expenses! I never met any medical establishments who cared like that! They are on it! Due to the number of patients being seen that day....they transfered SoYoung (a dental assistant from the Oviedo office) to help out to make sure that they had adequate coverage! I thought that was great and it worked! The pace of patients getting seen kept up with the flow of patients coming in the door! SoYoung did a great job by the way! She was my dental assistant that day! Dr. Tara worked on my tooth and executed that "gentle dental" approach!! She took away my anxiety by telling me exactly what was going on! She explained my options, the procedures and the pros and cons of each!! I needed a temporary crown. Chan was the awesome tech who prepared the temp crown and put it in! Chan made sure it was secure and made sure it was smooth and felt comfortable before I left. Thanks Chan!! So now I'm ready for the permanent crown to be "installed" aka root canal!! ...and I have to say I'm looking forward to going back to the Lake Mary Modern Dentistry office because I will be looked after and taken care of...If you haven't been to the dentist in a while or need some work...don't hesitate to give them a call!! They take many Insurances and don't worry if you can't find them in your Dentist App (they didn't show up in mine) but I had a hunch and i didn't spend a bunch!! They were in my network!!... and they were great!..Don't pass them by without giving them a try!! --Sam The Man

I was referred to this dental office by my primary dentist in winter park, since they were closed during Covid. I required a great amount of dental work, and had several appointments to this much farther office. The dentist, his associate orthodontist were fine. The front staff had zero professionalism, they said they emailed and called when my new trays came in from lab, which they clearly didn't. Going to the dentist is difficult and nerve wracking in itself. Add in office nuances that make your life harder, is not something you should have to deal with. Find a different office.

They were able to get me in ASAP and also find another location nearby to help with the procedure since specialist was not in Lk Mary office that day. Highly recommend. I was also able to save a lot of $$ on all procedures using my dental plan through True Dental Discounts
