Dr. Rachna Ranjan received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2003 from the School of Dental Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. She was an outstanding student at the University and had great training opportunities with some of the pioneers in the field of modern dentistry. She was top 3 percent in the American Dental Boards and received various awards and certificates.
Dr. Ranjan worked in Philadelphia where she gained experience in all phases of general dentistry with an emphasis on preventive quality care, before moving to Central Florida and making this her new home.
Dr. Ranjan is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Oral Cancer Society. She has extensive training, completing many hours of cosmetic and functional education. She makes it her top priority to keep herself up to date with latest in the field of dentistry and continuing education.
Dr. Ranjan belongs to a family of physicians; father a leading surgeon, mother gynecologist and brother a pediatrician. The family has inculcated a strong clinical skill which is evident as you get to know her. She is a very family oriented person and always maximizes her time with her eight year daughter and four year old son. She is also very active socially and is usually involved with community service.

I visited lake Mary dentistry a few years ago and made a crown. The dentist here chat with colleague while working on your teeth and not really focused. Right after the crown is made I started having issue always having food stuck in between the teeth. I went back to the practice a few weeks later and told the gap between the teeth is too big but they said nothing can be done. After that I moved to a different state and went into pandemic. For the last 3 years, everyday I had food stuck in between of the teeth and it started causing sensitivity and cavity. I finally visited another dentist to fix this. I want to tell whoever may be going to lake Mary dentistry, please don't make crown here because the process to fix is so painful and you don't want to ever go through what I went through. I can't believe this happened to me and I would never want to experience any more. Also Now that I have a compare, I can't say enough how much more professional my current dentist is. Thank God I am no longer there and no longer go to this place.

Incredibly sweet staff, and very clean office. I had a bad experience at a previous location so I was terrified of going back the dentist. They made me feel so comfortable again. So glad I found them!!

I have been going Family Dental care for two years now and I love it! Clean facility friendly staff. They care about their patients and their dental health. Lisa don't play now games you better be flossing! Dr.R is always lovely. Staff is great Marisol is always a pleasure. I love that it's women ..

I'm 75 and have been to many dentist in my lifetime. Dr. Ranjan is absolutely amazing and caring. She follows up and gets you in often to make sure dentures fit properly and seeks to make sure you're satisfied. Her staff is also a pleasure to work with. Dr. Ranjan you're the absolute best!! 10 stars to you!!!!

I have been going to this dentist since they opened. You can not ask for a more caring staff from the front desk, dental ast,and the dentist. As a child into my early adult life i was always having pain and fear at any dentist i went too. Family dental care has always taken the time and effort to ensure that my visits were pain free and Dr Ranjan is the best dentist i ever went to. If she can not fix your problem she always will send you to another specialist thats almost as good as her. Trust me this is the best dentist in Lake Mary hands down.

This has been by far the best experience I've probably had as an adult at a dental office. It's clean, the staff is welcoming and personable. Probably the best cleaning I've ever had, the hygienists here must have a steady hand or something the Dr. is fantastic as well! Very kind and good at what she does!
