Dr. Carlton attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry after completing his undergraduate education at Centenary College in Shreveport, LA. He returned to Alexandria, LA to begin working in private practice in 1998. Since that time, Dr. Carlton has received several honors for his leadership and service to his dental profession, including being awarded the New Dentist Award from the Louisiana Dental Association in 2005. As an active member and two-term past president of his local dental association, he was elected to the LDAs Board of Directors, and also participates in the states dental Governmental Affairs and ethical review panels.

A firm believer in continuing education, Dr. Carlton is a graduate and Fellow of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Hecurrently lectures at the Institutein the field of dental sleep medicine and provides sufferers of obstructive sleep apnea with alternatives to CPAP therapy.He has incorporated aCenter for Dental Sleep Solutions within his dental practice where patients benefit from the many options of Oral Appliance Therapy for the treatment of TMJ, Bruxism and Sleep Breathing Disorders. He is also internationally published ontreatmentfor sleep breathing disorders.He currently a member of The Louisiana Academy of Sleep Medicine, International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics,American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Physiologic Medicine & DentistryIn 2017, Dr. Carlton was flattered when he was invited to join the prestigious American College of Dentists, a group of the most elite in the profession!

Dr. Courtney Richter graduated from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2005 with honors and has been in private practice in Alexandria for over 13 years. She is a past LSUSD President and National Trustee for The American Student Dental Association; Vice- President and President of the Central Louisiana Dental Association; and Chairperson for the Council on the New Dentist for the LDA. Dr. Richter speaks to children and adults about Oral Health as it relates to Overall Health; a topic she has lectured on to The Louisiana Hygiene Association. Her passion is in treating patients to improve health and growth; and prevent or improve TMJ pain and sleep breathing disorders. She is also passionate about identifying and treating Oral Myofunctional Disorders in adults and children. She is a member of The American Academy of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the International Association of Orthodontics and the International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics. Dr. Richter is active in her community, has served on the Dental Advisory Committee for the Community Health Worx Clinic where she is a regular volunteer, and served as a Board member of the Rotary Club of Alexandria for 5 years. She chaired the International Service Committee for several years and has served on the Executive Leadership Team for Go Red for Women. Courtney received the LDAs New Dentist Award in 2011 and has recently received several local honors such as the YWCA Woman of the Decade in her 30s and the Town Talks 20 Under 40 for Local Professionals. She participates in Dental Mission trips in Jamaica. Recently, she has researched and lectured on Generational Differences and their effects on business and philanthropy. She and her husband/partner, Dr. Carlton, III, share a love for their patients and their three daughters.

Dr. Aaron Mangum graduated magna cum laude and received his bachelor degree in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He graduated from the LSU School of Dentistry in 2009 finishing in the top 5% of his class. In dental school, he was the recipient of the Hanau Best of the Best in Prosthodontics Award as well as the Excellence in Prosthodontics Award from the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics.

Dr. Mangum is extensively trained in surgical placement and prosthodontic restoration of dental implants completing countless hours of education at the Misch Institute, Zimmer Institute, Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and Implant Logistics. Additionally, he completed a rigorous mini surgical implant residency at the Dominican Training Institute in the Dominican Republic. He is a recognized Fellow at the Misch Institute and received the highest recognition of Board Certified Diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantology.

He is an active participant in the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and the local Central Louisiana Dental Association. He received the LDA New Dentist Award in 2017 for distinguishing himself by giving his time and talents in civic involvement, public service, and unselfish devotion to the dental profession. Since participating in a two year mission for the underserved population in Central Mexico, he is fluent in Spanish. He is an active Rotarian, serves as a board member of Crossroads Soccer Association, and loves working at Community Healthworx, a local charity dental clinic. Dr. Mangum is active in his church, loves spending time with his wife and kids, and enjoys getting out into the community and educating the public about the importance of good oral health. He loves soccer, backpacking, hiking, running, cycling, triathlon, and has even competed in Ironman competitions.
