Dr. Stanisic was born in North Carolina and moved to Florida at the age of one. She grew up in the Southwest Florida area and loves the beautiful weather & beaches we all enjoy in Florida! As a teenager she was touched by the life changing experience she had after getting braces, and from that moment her dream was to one day be a dentist so she could help change peoples lives. At the age of 19 she began working as a dental assistant and has been involved in dentistry ever since.
She graduated from USF with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Public Health which is part of her passion for health & nutrition. Following graduation, she returned to North Carolina to continue her dream of becoming a dentist. She is very grateful to have been accepted to the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and fulfilled her dream of becoming a dentist.
Following graduation, she returned to sunny Florida and put down roots with her family and began the next journey of creating her own dental practice. Lake Dental is the culmination of nearly 20 years in the dental world and a childhood dream of helping people with their smile!
Dr. Stanisic is committed to staying on the leading edge of dentistry and invests many hours each year in continuing education & training. In addition, she continues to explore and invest in advanced dental technologies that create a better experience for you.
Dr. Stanisic is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Women Dentists, Florida Dental Association, and co-founder of Student Entrepreneurs in Dentistry. She also volunteers her time each year with various dental donation organizations that provide dentistry for the under-served and uninsured.

This office is clean, staff is very caring, polite and helpful. Dr. Stanisic is gentle and sympathetic. This office does not up sell. All insurance and billing is explained before hand. Best dentist I've ever had.

There is a high level of Compassion, Kindness, and Integrity by her. I can't say enough positive things. And best of all, Kerry didn't try to "find" work to be done. NO PAIN!!! Most of us don't enjoy a visit to the dentist, but I was pleasantly surprised with my appointment. I had little to no pain from the anesthetic and drilling for my filling and now have a tooth that looks great and no longer gives me pain with every bite!

Love Lake Dental..!! Everyone there is very caring, they make going to the dentist very comfortable. They will always be my first choice and recommendation for a dentist. I was terrified of going to the dentist in the past and they made it easy for me. Dr, Stanisic and her staff are the best...they go above and beyond for their patients.

I was at Lake Dental yesterday for my six month cleaning. Jess, my hygienist, was so very personable, as usual. She made me feel comfortable the entire time and was efficient and gentle even when taking my annual x-rays. I have met many hygienist during my years visiting a dentist, but I've never known a more endearing and caring professional then Jess. Thank you for making me feel so at ease during my visits.

I was so happy to see a new dental office near where I live. Couldn't wait to make an appt. and am I glad I did. The office reception staff, Linda and Ashley, were very inviting, as well as the hygenist, Nicole, who was excellent. Full sets of x-rays, dental cleaning, then an exam by Dr. Stanisic was all I needed to know that I picked the right place for my dental needs. Thank you everybody!

Great experience. Front staff was very welcoming and friendly. The entire office was nice and very clean. My hygienist Nicole did an outstanding job cleaning my teeth. She was very nice and I felt like she really cared about what she was doing. Dr Stanisic was also one of the best dentists I've been to. She made me feel comfortable and my usual scammer feeling that I get with nearly every dentist I've had, was gone. She was personable, and didn't rush through me like the normal dental mills I've been to in the past. I highly recommend you give this office a try.
