Dr. Tom Bieberis the son of Dr. Rae Bieber, who started the practice in 1956. Dr. Tom was raised in Clear Lake and was very active in wrestling, becoming the second wrestler to win a state championship from Clear Lake's program. He went on to wrestle collegialityat Utah State University.
Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Tom attended the University of IowaCollege of Dentistry. He becameactive in thedental fraternity of Delta Sig andtook the position of house manager for the fraternity. He kept the houseoperational as it provided housing for manydental students.While in dentalschool he earnedthe 'Excellence In Operative Dentistry' award,which only goes out to one studentper year.Tom also methis wife, Lisa, while attendingdental school. Following graduation, the two came back to Clear Lake tojoin his father, Rae. Tom and Lisa have two children, Joe and Matt. Joe is involved in outreach ministries in California. Matt recently graduated from the University of Iowa and has come back to join the practice.
In his spare time, Dr. Tom enjoys hunting, fishing, and doing all things outdoors at hisfarm nearPilot Knob. His other huge passion has become his involvement in the development, construction, and operation of a dental clinic at The Consolation Center Orphanage in Les Cayes, Haiti.
Dr. Liz Bieber is a general dentist and 2019 graduate from The University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics. Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Liz received a bachelors degree in biology at the University of Wisconsin, Platteville, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
At Iowa, Liz was an active participant in student organizations serving as the treasurer of the dental fraternity, Delta Sigma Delta, and as the class representative for the Iowa chapter of the American Student Dental Association. During her dental school career, she spent her summer and holiday vacations gaining extra experience working as a house staff clinician in the emergency and surgery dental clinics on campus. Dr. Liz also met her husband, Dr. Matt Bieber, while attending dental school. Together, the two are excited to continue providing excellent care to the wonderful patients of Lake Dental Associates.
Giving back to the community has always been very important to Liz and during her time in undergrad and dental school she participated in Wisconsins and Iowas Mission of Mercy events to provide free dental care to those in need. Dr. Liz knows first hand how important gentle and efficient dental care is to all patients and in the future she looks forward to joining the Lake Dental team in providing this care to fearful patients in Haiti.
In her spare time, Liz enjoys running, reading and practicing yoga. She also likes to travel to Madison, Wisconsin to visit her family and dogs when time allows. Dr. Liz is very excited to be a part of the team at Lake Dental Associates and get to know the wonderful people of Clear Lake, Iowa!
Our newest addition to the practice is Dr. Matt Bieber! Dr. Matt grew up watching his father Dr. Tom's love for dentistry and followed in his father's footsteps to join the family practice. Matt received his bachelor's degree in human physiology at the University of Iowa and went on for four more years at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics to achieve his DDS degree in 2020.
While at Iowa, Matt was active in various student organizations and would regularly volunteer his time at Iowa's Mission of Mercy events to help the underserved. In the future, Matt looks forward to contributing to those in need by following his father's legacy of providing care to patients at the Les Cayes Clinic in Haiti.
Dr. Matt has always been an advocate for good oral health and takes a special interest in the role that oral health plays in overall health. He also appreciates how one's teeth can play a role in function, esthetics and confidence. He plans to further his education in implant and cosmetic dentistry to aid patients looking to improve their smiles.

I received a friendly greeting as soon as I walked through the door and they recognized me and had me checked in ready to be seen. A brief 2-3 minutes and my Hygienist Carson came to the waiting area to greet me and take me back to her Hygienist Op. Friendly thorough cleaning, X-rays, flossing and a check from Dr. Matt Bieber a polish on my teeth and my next 6 month checkup appointment scheduled right there while I was still in the chair with Carson and I was ready to go. Friendly and professional care but they treat you like family at Lake Dental

Very professional and caring Dr's. and staff. I highly recommend Lake Dental and feel that if it wasn't for their concern and being proactive with some oral issues in 2016 which tested positive for cancer that I might not be around today.

We have been coming to Lake Dental for 35 years. And even though we have moved away, we continue to come back because of the quality of care we receive. Plus every staff member is amazing! We recommend Lake Dental highly!
