Dr. Angie was born and spent her childhood locally in Somerset, KY. For the last several years her husband Stephen, and two young sons, Elijah and Luke have called it home as well. She completed her undergraduate education at Transylvania University in Lexington, KY and from there spent four years obtaining her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. She then applied and was accepted into the University of Kentucky Pediatric Dental residency program which she completed in 2015. This extra two years was spent specializing in dental care for children and all those with special health care needs. She became certified to treat children not only in the clinical setting but also in the operating room under general anesthesia and for in-office oral sedation. Dr. Angie completed extra education and testing beyond residency to become a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Angies goal is to make the dental experience comfortable and fun for children and their caregivers!

I took my 4 year old here to have a broken tooth extracted. They did an amazing job. The environment was comfortable for him and not at all scary. They even go above and beyond to give them a prize at the end and a coupon for a free frosty. Which I thought was super thoughtful. I'm very particular about what doctors my kids go to and I would recommend Lake Cumberland Pediatrics to anybody.

The entire staff is very welcoming and friendly. Every part of the building is spotlessly clean. Dr. Gabbard goes above and beyond for her patients, from routine checkups to emergencies. Highly recommend!!

They are absolutely the BEST denist office ever! When your children are excited to see the dentist and staff ,then you know they are something special. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with smiles and kindness. The entire place is decorated so adorably and very kid friendly. I am a mother/grandmother lol and I love going to watch the turtles in the aquarium and all the amazing wall murals! The doctor is the best!! Pulaski County is very blessed to have such a top notch dental facility for our children and grandbabies.

Dr Angie is the best!! My son had a horrible first dental experience at another dentist's office. After that visit he screamed when even brought back to the table. He refused to lay down. His anxiety was absolutely horrific. Dr Angie let him sit up during cleanings to make sure he was not scared. She's spent roughly 3 years now getting him comfortable with her. Today he had an extraction and we were able to do it in office!!! Her staff has been so sweet and kind with his anxiety. I would recommend anyone with children to give her a try. He loves Dr Angie so much he gives her a hug every time he sees her!

Dr. Angie has been great with my 7 year old that has had some bad dental experiences and is terribly frightened of the dentist AND my 6 year old that is on the autism spectrum. We have definitely found our new pediatric dentist!
