Dr. Cheryl Terell was born in Nassau, Bahamas. She completed her DDS degree from the Howard University in 1996 after graduating from dental school. She attended surgical residency at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Nassau, Bahamas for a year.
During her implantology training, Dr. Terell completed four mini-residencies at Implant Seminars Inc, Atlanta Institute for Advance Education alongside other implant continuing education courses. She got featured in the Vogue magazine when she undertook training at the Las Vegas Institution of Advanced Cosmetics.
She's certified in TMD, oral sedation, and sleep apnea treatments. Besides being a fellow with the International Academy of Dental Implantology, she's also a member of the following prestigious organizations:
Dr. Terell is experienced in using latest techniques like CT scanning and growth factors for implants and bone grafting. She's still undertaking up-to-date education to provide thorough and excellent dental treatment to her patients at Lake Arbor Dental Associates Of Maryland. She's caring and compassionate. Dr. Dexter D. McRae was born in Fayetteville, NC. Following his graduation, he worked for the U.S. Army in the military intelligence field as an electronic warfare Morse code interceptor. Thereafter, he completed his B.S. in Biology from Fayetteville State University after a six-year enlistment. He got selected for the Human Genome Project at Los Alamos National Laboratory out of thousands of students during his undergraduate studies.
After graduating from the Howard University College of Dentistry in 1997, he did a two-year General Practice Residency at Saint Elizabeths Hospital in Washington DC. Certified in dental implant surgery, Dr. McRae has received numerous awards. He is highly trained in cosmetic dentistry, full-mouth restoration, and TMJ training from the Las Vegas Institute (LVI) for Advance Dental Studies. He's also certified in sedation dentistry.
Dr. Jana Lampley is a native of Atlanta, GA and currently resides in Upper Marlboro, MD. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from the Spelman College in Atlanta, she got her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. After graduating from the University of Michigan, she joined an extensive 3-year specialty program in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. She's a certified periodontist and a Master of Science in Craniofacial Biology degree holder.
While attending USC, Dr. Lampley presented her research papers and lectures on various topics of periodontics. She's a member of the eminent American Academy of Periodontology and the National Dental Association. She provides a broad range of periodontal treatments for gum diseases, dental implant placement, and cosmetic periodontal procedures at Lake Arbor Dental Associates Of Maryland.
Dr. Lampleys patients and colleagues find her to be a gentle, easy-going person with interest in mentoring and volunteering. She's always concerned about her patients and meeting their periodontal needs.
Maira Martinez was born in Mexico, but brought up in Maryland. She received her associate's degree in Business Administration at PGCC in 2016. She has also completed the Executive Management Program from MGE in St. Petersburg, FL. In her job as the office manager at Lake Arbor Dental Associates Of Maryland, Maira makes sure that the patients face no difficulty during their visit to the dental office. She listens to the dental issues of the patients and helps them attain good dental health.

I have been going to Lake Arbor Dental for years. They have wonderful customer service and Dr. Terrell and Dr. McRae are awesome dentist. Kim is a wonderful hygienist. They make you feel like family. I highly recommend them.

Went today and received a cap. It was seamless. Dr. McRae floats like a butterfly, but left out the sting!! No pain, even without anesthesia. Love visiting the Dentist; who could ever say that? I can! Very professional staff and great Doctors!! They always follow up to ensure you have the best care.

The office is nice. However, I'm disappointed with their COVID protocol! Like why impose a $2.00 mask fee on your patients who already paying co-payments! I just think it was a little tacky!!

My first time experience was a joy! I have a dental issue for which Dr Terrell eased my mind about the procedure needed. The office atmosphere is classy and high tech; the staff is comforting, kind and friendly. I recommend this office to anyone, especially those who have had frightening past dental experiences.

I had a bad experience with another dentist. I asked around and was referred to Dr. Mcrea. As a new patient I didn't know what to expect The staff was friendly and caring. The dental hygienist was AMAZING, best cleaning I have ever had. I still have a few more visits due to my issues, not going to say I am looking forward to going to the dentist but I am sure I will be taken good care of. I would definitely recommend.

The staff was efficient, warm and engaging. Kendal made me feel so comfortable and talked me through the process. Tom was very kind as well. Dr McRae was hilarious and very competent. I highly recommend them.
