Jose Cazares, DDS, FAGD, is an award-winning dentist and the 2018 Texas Dentist of the Year selected by the Texas Academy of General Dentistry. With over 25 years experience in private practice, Dr. Cazares specializes in compassionate dental care.
A lifelong resident of Texas, Dr. Cazares attended McAllen High School before graduating from Texas A&M University in College Station, and Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. He is also a graduate of the two year, hands-on course at GP Orthodontics. Dr. Cazares received a Fellowship Award from The Academy of General Dentistry for 500 hours of post-graduate continuing education and successful completion of a comprehensive written exam on all phases of dentistry.
Dr. Cazares has served as the President of the Texas Dental Association, a state organization with more than 8,000 dentists, and is a fellow of many dental associations and honor societies, including the Academy of Dentistry International, American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
