Dr. Lai is passionate about the art and science behind orthodontics. She recognizes that orthodontics can be life-changing, improving not only oral health, but transforming confidence and emotional well-being as well. Dr. Lai believes all patients deserve treatment plans that are tailored to their unique needs and concerns and works with patients to bring out their best smile
Dr. Lai grew up in Taiwan and came to the United States to study orthodontics. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry, where she also received the honor of being inducted intothe Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Lai completed her Masters in Dental Science and Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Rochester, New York. She was awarded 2nd place ofCharley Schultz Resident Scholar Awardfor her scientific research at annual meeting of American Association of Orthodontists (AAO)
Dr. Lai is dedicated to providing high-quality care and efficient treatment. To achieve that, Dr. Lai regularly attends professional educational meetings and online courses to learn about updated technology and advances in the orthodontic field.
