Dr. Felicia Lai is a Bakersfield native being born and raised in Kern County. She attended Cal-State Bakersfield for a year and then continued her education at USC where she received her B.S. in Psychobiology. After she graduated from the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco, Dr. Lai returned to her hometown and started her practice in Shafter before relocating to Bakersfield. She was instrumental in organizing Children's Dental Health Month programs and screenings for the Shafter/Wasco area and also volunteered at the Bakersfield Homeless Shelter Dental Clinic. Dr. Lai has also served on the board of the Kern County Dental Society and is currently a member of the California Dental Association and American Dental Association.

Dr Lai is a wonderful dentist. She is kind and patient and very thorough. She practices very high quality dentistry. She has a peaceful demeanor and cares about her patients.

Wonderful dental experience!!! So peaceful and calm... She takes her time with you, and never makes you feel rushed... And I've never been uncomfortable or in pain... Very skilled dentist, who does beautiful dental work... and wonderful staff!

While I worked with Dr Lai I found her to be one of the most ethical practitioners I have ever worked with. Her standard of care was far above many of her peers.

Dr Lai is the best dentist ever. She is the most thorough and conscientious one I have ever had. She really cares for her patients' well being and if she ever retires I will be very unhappy. If you are looking for a new dentist you owe it to yourself to make her yours.
