Dr. Felicia Lai is a Bakersfield native being born and raised in Kern County. She attended Cal-State Bakersfield for a year and then continued her education at USC where she received her B.S. in Psychobiology. After she graduated from the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco, Dr. Lai returned to her hometown and started her practice in Shafter before relocating to Bakersfield. She was instrumental in organizing Children's Dental Health Month programs and screenings for the Shafter/Wasco area and also volunteered at the Bakersfield Homeless Shelter Dental Clinic. Dr. Lai has also served on the board of the Kern County Dental Society and is currently a member of the California Dental Association and American Dental Association.
